It's Time To Outlaw Zionism!

After watching a video by anti-Zionist beat reporter Frank Weltner, who is a former librarian and an indefatigable researcher on the Jewish Problem, I find myself in full agreement with this wise scholar. Weltner, who has moved beyond mere audio talks which in the past adroitly dissected the body of lies that served to further the world Zionist deconstruction project, now is disseminating his video lectures across the world of YouTube and is opening eyes, minds and hearts to the depth of the problem. What I found so novel, even groundbreaking in Weltner’s calm and reasoned mini-dissertation was one of his suggestions on how to stop or curtail the ADL/AIPAC subversion of America’s sovereignty. He suggested, in his somewhat curmudgeonly trademark style that the only way to ebb the tide of Jewish extremist treason was to outlaw Zionism and label it as a terrorist philosophy. After looking at the problem extensively myself, this does seem to be the only solution available to us.

If Islamic radicals, jihadist Arabs from the Middle East had seized our media organs under the radar, even if they were American citizens, most people in the US would stand and loudly demand that something be done, by both the President and the FBI and with firm and unbending legislation from Congress banning those with allegiance to a foreign power from controlling the flow of information. Americans would understand that Islamic jihadists could not dispassionately report the news, especially news concerning the Middle East. These Islamists would not be allowed to hold onto newspapers, magazines, network news stations and other types of media. They would absolutely never be allowed to get a foothold in the news-making field and any monopolies would be crushed like a Palestinian child in Gaza.

In fact, according to the Zionist Jews, no one but their people should have any media of any kind. It was the Jewish community, well-funded and heavy-handed as always, which succeeded in getting Al-Jazeera banished permanently from Canada. The Zionist Jews want no competition in the arena of ideas, and many of them despise the ubiquitous scope of the internet for this very reason. They slant and spin and lie endlessly because, save the world wide web, they are the only game in town.

This must end. We must, for the sake of America’s future and America’s survival, pass legislation that brands Zionism permanently as a criminal, a terrorist and a treasonous ideology, and one which desires world domination and control over all other peoples. The fact that the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee essentially writes our MidEast policy only guarantees that America will be drawn into endless war, endless bloodshed and endless death and decimation of other nations for the sake of world criminal Zionism and for the benefit of NO ONE ELSE. The Jewish supremacists have been allowed to lord it over the rest of humanity for long enough! I’ve had enough and the world has certainly had its fill of the warmongering agenda of radical Zionist Jews! These Jews now control most of our federal government and their grip has to be dislodged and smashed!

But before some of the members of the intellectually and morally bankrupt Ziogentsia scream that this type of anti-Zionist legislation would be “anti-Semitic” and that it would amount to little more than “Jew-baiting” let me make something very clear, so clear that even a 75-IQ “Christian” Zionist Mogen David-lover can begin to comprehend it. The anti-Zionist legislation that both myself and Weltner would endorse would punish treasonous Zionist Gentiles just as much as it would punish Zionist Jews.

Legislation designating Zionism as a terrorist ideology would necessarily require the impeachment and imprisonment of both George W. Bush and Dick Cheney as Zionist war criminals, it would result in the removal and arrest of all our Zionist politicians, frauds like Rick Santorum and John McCain and Rudy “Jew”-liani and Bill and Hillary Clinton and so many more. Both Gentile and Jewish Zionists alike would be fined, jailed or at the very least be stripped of their lofty positions.

The AIPAC and ADL traitors would be imprisoned, the neo-con Jews and Gentiles in this present administration would be charged with Zionist war crimes and either serve lifetime sentences or possibly be executed for the blood they helped to spill on the sands of Iraq, all for concocted Israeli lies and propaganda, cherry-picked and fed to our feckless politicians like candy.

I am angry as hell and I believe that more and more Americans are starting to wake up and smell, not the coffee, but the awful stench of the blood and guts spilled forth by Zionism! Zionism is killing us, it’s killing our soldiers, it’s killing the Iraqi people and it’s killing our sovereignty! Even now, the Jewish neo-cons are pushing the open borders Ending of America Project and getting by with a little help from their friends in the Jewish media and their Goyim pals like drunkard Ted Kennedy on the Left and the disgraced megalomaniac John McCain on the other side of the fence.

Tamar Jacoby, a hideous neo-conservative ultra-Zionist Jewish semi-woman who has nothing but disgust for this country and its heritage, is one of the Bushites who is fervently trying to shove the open borders amnesty bill down our throats, while at the same time keeping the American money washing over Israel like a wave of beneficence, insuring that the apartheid “Jews-only” nation is revved up for more murder and bloodlust and genocide. This is what we are supporting with our hard-earned taxes! Yet to mention it makes me the hater!? No, this country has been besieged by Jewish bigots and anti-white racists for too long! None of us should remain silent as Jewish supremacists seize us by the short-hairs and do not ask, but demand that we do their will! I suppose they will collapse our economy if we prove recalcitrant!

It’s time to outlaw Zionism. It’s time to realize that Zionism is about controlling other people, about keeping them under the radical Jewish extremist jackboot by any means at the Chosen’s disposal. In 1962, David Ben-Gurion, the supposed George Washington of Israel stated the true motives of Zionism when he fearlessly put the world on notice: "...With the exception of the USSR as a federated Eurasian state, all other continents will become united in a world alliance, at whose disposal will be an international police force. All armies will be abolished, and there will be no more wars. In Jerusalem, the United Nations (a truly United Nations) will build a Shrine of the Prophets to serve the federated union of all continents; this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents, as prophesied by Isaiah." So now perhaps this will elucidate the Christian Zio-zombies to the truth. Zionism is not about the Jews having their own little “peace-loving” country where they can live unmolested. No, it’s about radical racial supremacist Jews becoming the lords of the earth and dispensing justice (Talmudic justice) on the rest of us, the inferior and soulless Goyim cattle whom they loathe with every fiber of their self-worshipping beings. Wake up, world! If you are supporting Zionism, you are placing a stamp of approval on your own genocide!

If things gets bad enough, ugly enough and depraved enough in the United States of Israel, perhaps Zionism can be outlawed and the whole rotting structure of Jewish racism and supremacy can be toppled forever. With the displacement of Zionism would come the pulling down of all of its agents, both Jew and Gentile. This would start an era of real American freedom, not the slavery packaged as liberty that our President, an agent of Big Jewry and the Zio-fanatics, rhapsodizes about in broken and semiliterate English. No, we have every right to demand independence and even to fight in the streets for it if necessary. As Thomas Jefferson almost omnisciently reminded us “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” [2] We, the anti-Zionists are the patriots, and our tyrants are any and all who would force us to live under the oppression of a foreign and alien power.

The loophole

Two recent reports by human-rights organizations open a small window into the torture chambers of Israel. Eight years have passed since the High Court made its historic decision forbidding torture, and now it is clear that the General Security Services (GSS)-aka Shin Bet-have found ways of circumventing the law. The two reports differ in content, methodology, style and analysis, but a unified picture emerges.

The report of the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI) bears the title, Ticking Bombs.*

Its core consists of nine testimonies by people who were interrogated. PCATI puts them "among the severest testimonies received by the committee in the years 2004-2006." From the material in this report, including judicial decisions and GSS memoranda, it appears that the tortures were carried out by means of a loophole in the High Court decision of 1999. The decision enables the Attorney General to refrain from placing torturers on trial, if he finds, in retrospect, that the defense of necessity is available to them. Whereas the court had in mind the rash, spontaneous act that an interrogator might perform when lives were in immediate danger, this exception has become a streamlined procedure for granting license to torture.

The other human-rights report, Absolute Prohibition, has been jointly published by HaMoked (the Center for Defense of the Individual) and B'tselem.**

It is based on a different methodology. In order to get a picture of the standard methods used in interrogations, interviews-mostly conducted in prison- were initiated with Palestinians belonging to two samples. The first consisted of 34 who were seized in a wave of arrests after a suicide attack in Netanya on July 12, 2005; they were arrested under various circumstances and were brought to the GSS for interrogation within two weeks of detention. The second sample of 39 consisted of Palestinians who were arrested in targeted operations during the second half of 2005 and were brought to interrogation within 48 hours. The assumption (borne out by the results) was that the second sample would include people whose interrogation was deemed urgent and that even harsher methods would have been applied to them. Whereas PCATI's report brings raw testimonies with minimal editing, that of HaMoked and B'tselem focuses on analyzing interrogation methods, their implications and the question of their legality.

The PCATI testimonies are horrifying. The same methods appear repeatedly. One of these is reported by Muhammad Barjiyye, 22, a student in Business Administration. "They put me into a new position - sideways on a chair with nothing behind my back. They tied each of my legs to a chair leg, then took off my blindfold, saying they wanted to see me. Oscar the interrogator sat across from me and stepped on my feet so that I would not move. Micha and Gur yelled all the time. Oscar said that he would grab my shirt from the front upwards, and that I should lean back. He said I had to lean midway, because if I leaned all the way back my back would break [because the feet were immobilized-YW], and if I sat up in the regular way he would hit me. He said that he wanted to see how long I could endure it.

"I stayed in this position for maybe an hour, with my eyes blindfolded again. When I could no longer manage and wanted to sit, he hit me hard below the chest. The blow threw me back. I felt as if my back was coming apart. I couldn't get up again. My head was on the floor and the pain was excruciating. He told me to get up, but I couldn't. I felt a sour liquid pouring out of my nose, and my stomach hurt. I stayed this way for about fifteen minutes." The interrogation continued.

Another technique is to tighten handcuffs in a way that stops the circulation of the blood. This description is from the testimony of 'Abd al-Halim 'Eiz a-Din: "Then two interrogators came, Segal and perhaps Lieut. Sagiv, put a thick bandage on my hands and put two handcuffs on me, each cuff on a different hand. They took a large quantity of paper towels and put them on their hands so it wouldn't hurt them, and together they pulled my hands backwards and began tightening the handcuffs. That causes a kind of pain that is indescribable. I felt that I had lost feeling in my palms, and particularly in my left palm, for two or three months. But I still feel pain in the bone between my wrist and my hand."

These excerpts are only a tiny sample from the repertoire of violent techniques that are aimed at breaking the prisoners physically and psychologically. Several speak of their fear that they would leave the interrogation as cripples, a fear the torturers exploited. Nor is this an empty threat. One of the victims, Luwaii Ashqar of Saida village, emerged from interrogation paralyzed.

For its part, the Israeli medical establishment-both inside and outside the prison-contributes to the process. Ashqar, for instance, complained that a vertebra had gone out of place and a wound had become infected, but it took five days before he was transferred to a hospital in Haifa. "In the Rambam Hospital they shackled my hands and legs. The doctor who came to check me asked what happened. When I started to tell him, the guards asked me to be quiet, and asked the doctor to go out with them. After the doctor returned, he conducted an intrusive exam. When it was finished, he said to me 'There's nothing wrong with you, and you're released.' I received medications, he put cream on the injured vertebra, and I was taken back to Jalameh [a prison]. In light of my situation...I was compelled to confess to what they asked me to confess."

Other victims of torture who testified to PCATI were checked at Hadassah and Shaarei Tzedek hospitals in Jerusalem. The medical staffs took no steps, and made no complaints, toward stopping the torture. They performed superficial diagnoses and quickly returned the patients to prison.

The research of HaMoked and B'tselem also revealed the regular use of techniques whose purpose was to break the prisoner by means of extreme pain. For example, several in the sample mentioned the methods described above: five reported on contortion of the back and three on the tightening of handcuffs near the elbow. The importance of this second report, however, lies in its survey of standard interrogation methods.

The procedure for breaking the prisoner begins with his arrest by the army. About half of those in the sample were beaten during arrest or while in military custody. About a third were cuffed in such a way as to maximize pain. A third were subjected to verbal abuse. About a fourth reported that they were blocked from performing vital functions, such as eating, drinking and going to the bathroom. Whether or not the soldiers' brutality derives from a specific order, it clearly helps "soften" the detainee.

On reaching the GSS Interrogation Center, the prisoner undergoes a "rite of passage." Many report on a medical examination in full nudity before the eyes of policemen, soldiers or jailers. They sign a form that lists their rights while making it plain that in a large degree they are subject to their interrogators. After this period of softening, the stage of actual interrogation begins.

The main tools for breaking the prisoners are sensory deprivation, sleep deprivation, social deprivation and motor deprivation. When not in face-to-face interrogation, they are held in narrow isolation cells whose walls are painted gray. No sunlight enters. The cells are illuminated by a steady, dull electric light for 24 hours a day. Because no watches or clocks are permitted, these conditions lead the prisoners to lose the sense of time. Instead of natural ventilation, there is an air-conditioning system that is set at an uncomfortable temperature, for the most part cold. There is no exercise period. Rather, everything is geared to minimize sensory, physical and cognitive stimulation. The isolation cell contains a water faucet, sometimes over a sink, sometimes over the hole that serves as a toilet. The remaining furniture consists of a mattress and blankets, often damp and stinking. The food is made to look repulsive. The prisoner is reduced, in short, to a low level of biological existence.

In many cases sleep deprivation is used, both in the isolation cell and in the interrogation chamber. In the cell, the constant light impedes sleep, as does the cold and the clearly intentional noise made by the jailers. In the interrogation chamber, the prisoner is chained for hours to a chair, unable to move. The posture, even when not at first unnatural, quickly becomes unbearable. Until the High Court decision of 1999, the prisoners were held for hours outside the interrogation chambers, chained to low, tilted chairs, heads bagged, amid loud music. The High Court proscribed this technique, forbidding sleep deprivation as a means of interrogation. However, the Court did allow chaining for the purpose of protecting the interrogators, and it did permit lengthy and "intensive" interrogation, as required in each case by circumstances, even if sleep deprivation resulted as a side-effect. The GSS solution is to conduct "intensive interrogations" in the chamber, during which the prisoner is forced to remain awake, although most of the time no one asks him anything.

These deprivations have psychological and physical effects. Researches show that sensory deprivation can lead to disturbance of thought, hallucinations, loss of self-identity, depression and suicide. Consequences may persist in the long term. On the physical level, the body is weakened and becomes vulnerable to disease.

There is complete isolation from the external world. The courts routinely approve orders that prevent the prisoner from meeting with a lawyer. Sometimes they even allow the authorities not to tell the prisoner that such an order exists or was challenged in court: he might be encouraged by the fact that someone outside is fighting for him. A visit from the Red Cross will not take place until weeks have passed. There is no contact with other prisoners. In the intervals between face-to-face interrogations, he is held in isolation. On weekends, and at advanced stages of interrogation, the prisoner may be completely isolated for days on end, except for the extremely limited contact with those who bring him food.

The prisoners' only human contact is with the interrogators. The need for contact with other humans is exploited for purposes of interrogation. In an opinion attached to the report, psychiatrist Yehoachin Stein writes that "the collision between the loathing for the interrogator and the need for a human connection in a situation of total isolation creates an emotional confusion, feelings of guilt and a decline in self-esteem."

One of the final stages in almost every interrogation is the transfer to a cell with "stoolies," that is, Palestinians posing as prisoners whose task is to get the victim to talk. This technique is so transparent and common that it's hard to believe anyone would fall for it. Nevertheless, most of the prisoners reveal incriminating information at this stage. The writers of the report believe that the success of the stoolies depends on the interrogation's earlier phases. By this time a prisoner's power of judgment is distorted, and the hunger for human contact is tremendous. Because of the "work" done on him in the previous stages, he falls into the stoolies' hands like an apple ripe from the tree.

The GSS methods have changed since the High Court decision of 1999. But the reality in the interrogation chambers continues to be cruel and inhuman. I don't know what is more disturbing-the brutal techniques, which break bodies with intense pain, or the routine techniques for expunging the human spirit by absolute isolation and lack of stimulation. Both sorts fall under the categories of "cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment" and "torture." Both are absolutely forbidden by international law, without exception or qualification. The techniques, nonetheless, continue to be used-supported by the Attorney General's Office, the courts, and innumerable regular citizens who get involved in the procedures one way or another. The State of Israel has not denied a single substantive point in either of the two reports.

When the going gets tough the weak head for New Hampshire. So John McCain is in Manchester, hoping to somehow rescue his failing campaign. The odds are long against the former front runner for the GOP Presidential nomination. If he fails in New Hampshire, it's over. Reports The Washington Post:

Sickly. Weak. Feeble. Pick your choice. Any one of those words could be used to describe the campaign aura that's surrounded John McCain over the past couple of months. The one-time front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination has disappointing poll numbers and deathly results from the second quarter of fundraising. His failed effort to push through a comprehensive immigration bill has alienated him from many conservative Republican voters.

The Supreme Court has smacked around his campaign finance reform. Out of luck and money, he's a man looking for love. And so the McCain for President reclamation project begins early the morning of July 25 in the lobby of a law firm here. He's back home at the site of his greatest political triumph -- his win over George W. Bush in the New Hampshire primary seven years ago. It was here where Mr. Straight Talk Express shook hands with everyone and won over the press. It was here where he was happy.

Voters fed up with Democratic failures

Funny how when it comes to doing America's business the Congress is virtually impotent. But when it comes to responding to Israel's concerns, Congress is extremely efficient. They cannot agree on how to stop the disastrous war in Iraq or, how to stop President Bush from becoming King/Dictator Bush, but the one thing they all can agree on is - Israel is good and Arabs and Muslims are bad. The new Democratic leadership of Congress rode into Washington last fall with a voter mandate for change.

Seven months later, many of those same voters want the Democrats tarred and feathered and rode out of town on a rail.

For seven months, the Democrats' reign in the seat of power has been a study in frustration and a college course on failed expectations. Their razor-thin majority is not enough to override President George W. Bush's veto pen and they have found themselves constantly beaten by a President with the lowest approval ratings in history.

Voters have little patience with politics as usual and they want change. So far, the Democrats have not delivered and time is running out.

Reports The Washington Post:

To Edwin Robinson, a Milwaukee casino pit boss and a lifelong Democrat, the new Democratic Congress that he cheered seven months ago is now a source of shame, as its leaders try to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq.

"Let's not just pull out," Robinson, 50, said. "That feels like being beat again."

Terry Brickman, 43, a Republican-voting independent from suburban Detroit, was no less enthusiastic about the Democrats' victory in November, and is no less disappointed today. By now, he figured, the new Congress would have forced President Bush to change course.

"Congress had the ability with their momentum coming in to really do some things, gain some respect or positive feelings from the American people, and that's gone already," said Brickman, a medical-device sales representative. "They failed."

Brickman and Robinson, two respondents to the most recent Washington Post-ABC News poll, help explain why Congress moves toward its August recess this week with approval ratings at 37 percent, rivaling the president's low ratings -- and why it has become so difficult for the Democratic leadership to do anything about it. Polling data and follow-up interviews reveal that voters disapprove of the new Democratic majority, but the reasons range wildly.

Iraq is the dominant theme, but no clear consensus emerges about what Congress should do. About half of Americans in the Post-ABC poll said that Democrats have done too little to push Bush on his war policy. Others said in interviews that Congress has neglected domestic issues while focusing on Iraq.

In short, the divisions in the nation at large are well reflected in the paralysis on Capitol Hill.

"My feeling is they're not really standing up for the other side of the story. They're caving and not fighting hard enough for what American people really want," said Jessica Lane, 28, a Democrat and registered nurse in Bremerton, Wash. "Maybe my hopes were just a little too high."

Those sentiments have buoyed Republicans as they attack what they call a Democratic "Post Office Congress" -- unable to accomplish much more than renaming federal buildings.

Ron Paul Preaches Adherence To Constitution

THE MEANING AND IMPACT of Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul’s presidential bid is becoming clearer by the day, as Paul’s “Texas Straight Talk” resonates deeply with a diverse spectrum of Americans and changes the political climate in a way that makes establishment candidates appear dull and unappealing. Pundits and observers reluctantly point out that Paul’s consistent views and adherence to pro-American principles impress voters enough to support him even when they disagree with him on specific issues.

According to Paul himself, in Georgia, Dr. Paul Broun defeated State Sen. John Whitehead in a special election to Congress. How? By sticking to constitutional principles. In other words, the “Ron Paul approach” disarmed a well-funded establishment candidate and allowed a better man to fill a seat in Congress, where constitutionalists are nearly extinct.

“John had all the establishment and money on his side. But [Broun] discussed obedience to the Constitution, limited government, the failure of the national Republican leadership and a less aggressive foreign policy. And he won. Columnist Robert Novak said this ‘terrified’ all the establishment types in the Republican Party,” said Paul, who had talked to Broun during his campaign and was “thrilled” to congratulate him on his victory.

“There is a new wind blowing,” Paul said in a news release posted at ronpaul.com. “Our bottom-up campaign—not top-down in the usual official fashion—has gotten far bigger and more successful, at a faster rate, than even I dreamed. And the sky is the limit. Don’t we owe it to our great forebears, and to our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren down through the generations, not to lose our country? We can win the fight for the ideals of the founders. We can have freedom, peace and prosperity. We can be blessed by our fellow citizens, and by all those who come after us.”

Paul’s campaign press secretary, Jesse Benton said the Broun-Paul issue underscores the power of truth.

“There are a lot of parallels between Ron and Dr. Broun,” Benton told American Free Press. “Both are medical doctors; both are strict constitutionalists. It’s a strong indicator that if a real constitutionalist runs, they can overcome establishment backing and deep pockets of campaign finance.”

Indeed, the establishment flagship, The Wall Street Journal, ran a July 23 commentary by John Fund, who wrote that Dr. Broun told him: “The race boiled down to someone who represented the status quo versus someone who wanted to vote for change.”

Fund noted that Broun “prevailed by using direct mail and telephone messages to go over the heads of party leaders with a pledge that, once in Congress, he would apply a four-way test before voting on any bill: Is it constitutional and a proper function of government? Is it morally correct? Is it something we really need? Is it something we can afford? He has said that, like libertarian congressman and fellow physician Ron Paul of Texas, he will always carry a pocket copy of the Constitution with him and consult it before voting. In an effort to limit pork-barrel ‘earmark’ projects, he says he will even apply that standard to requests for federal funds made by local officials in his district.

“[Broun] capped off that legislative commitment by offering strong support for efforts to overturn the Supreme Court’s 2005 Kelo [vs. New London] eminent domain decision that upheld the power of local officials to seize private property for private uses. He also strongly endorsed the abolition of the IRS and the replacement of the income tax with a national sales tax.”

Notably, Paul has said repeatedly that he differs on that point, saying he would abolish the IRS and the income tax but would not replace the income tax with anything. He would deeply cut spending so less taxes are needed in the first place.

Interestingly, Fund added: “The conventional wisdom in Washington is that someone in Congress who votes against federal spending that isn’t in accord with the original conception of the Constitution will have trouble getting re-elected. But Rep. Paul, who has made his votes against almost every federal program a centerpiece of his insurgent GOP presidential campaign, says he finds that he gains more votes from people impressed with his consistency than he loses from those upset that he isn’t a passenger
on the federal gravy train.”

AFP takes the approach of setting the constitutional standard and seeing who reaches it. So far, Paul is the only one to genuinely do so, objectively speaking. AFP makes no election predictions either way. The Constitution is the basic thing to which all officials take a sworn oath to uphold and defend. News reporting should observe that standard as the measure of a candidate. Anything else becomes a mere battle of personalities, as well as repackaged legislative tinkering that has had its chance in the public domain and failed.

Benton also noted another parallel: Broun won due in part to the support he got from a combination of traditional conservatives, libertarians, assorted constitutionalists and even progressives.

This same combination, ranging from the age of 18 to the elderly, also is supporting Paul. Benton said many progressives who are bored by the Democratic presidential candidates were initially attracted to Paul by his anti-war stance but are sticking with him because of his apparent integrity and championing of liberty.

“He’s not a packaged politician” and they know that, Benton told AFP.

Neocons Salivate Over Hillary

It should come as no surprise prominent neocons are gushing over Hillary Clinton, as noted by the Seattle Times. Fred Barnes of the neocon house organ, the Weekly Standard, couldn’t contain his admiration for the Bilderberger Queen. Ditto for Rich Lowry of National Review, David Brooks, and the Joseph Goebbels of the neocon movement, Charles Krauthammer.

“She excels,” Lory praised. “Clinton has run a nearly flawless campaign and has done more than any other Democrat to show she’s ready to be president,” that is to say any other neocon, or neolib, not that there is a whole heck of a lot of difference, as the neocons understand. Clinton has repeatedly indicated her desire to “confront” Iran, that is to say bomb the country, or at least starve it into submission, and that naturally warms the cockles of psychopathic neocon hearts, or lack thereof.

“All this from a crowd that has spent the better part of two decades demonizing Clinton and her husband, former President Clinton,” writes a clueless Matt Stearns, corporate scribe for McClatchy Newspapers. “Is the conservative chattering class just hedging its bets, wary that Clinton might win the White House and banish them all?”

No, Matt. Point is, demonstrated well enough here, there is little difference between mainstream Democrats and neocon “conservatives,” who take their pedigree from Trotskyites and Jabotinskyite, Arab-killing terrorists. Some of them are fond of Carl Schmitt, the Nazi jurist, who wrote about dictatorship and the “death machine” of the state, while others admire Niccolò Machiavelli and the idea of principe nuovo, a pragmatic and ruthless dictator. A few of them gathered at the foot of Leo Strauss, who advocated the concept of Plato’s “noble lie,” that is to say brazen deception, a common enough practice in government these days. Paul Wolfowitz and Abram Shulsky were students of Strauss, while Andrew Sullivan, Elliott Abrams, Alan Keyes, Richard Perle, Bill Kristol, and Irving Kristol studied under the Straussian Harvey C. Mansfield, who advocates a “strong executive,” that is to say the sort of decidership Schmitt wrote about. Democrats, while not explicit Straussians or stark raving fascists along the lines sketched out by Carl Schmitt, are indeed authoritarians, more socialist in a classical sense but despots nonetheless.

Hillary Clinton was selected by the ruling elite to be the next president, so it makes sense the neocons, who have made a career out of attacking and slandering Democrats, as part of the false left-right political paradigm, are enthusiastically onboard, praising the Bilderberger selectee Clinton now, same as the old communist politburo praised without hesitation the leader appointed by the Central Committee. If serious neocons understand anything it is that power from on-high must be respected and obeyed, lest they are led to the political wilderness, a dreaded prospect worse than death for most of the neocon megalomaniacs.

“Hillary Clinton is our best shot to win the White House. That’s pretty much consensus by Republican insiders,” the Seattle Times reports “a Republican strategist with a top-tier GOP candidate” as admitting. In other words, none of the Republicans currently strutting, preening, and bloviating have a chance, as the elite want a Democrat this time around, not that there is a lick of difference between Democrats and Republicans. It is interesting this admission comes from a “strategist” for a “top-tier GOP candidate.”

But then not so interesting or surprising, as little of substance will change under Queen Hillary. Of course, the masses will be fooled again, as usual, and that’s why the corporate media is now trotting out letters Hillary Rodham wrote to high school friend John Peavoy while attending Wellesley College back in the day. “The letters were written during a period when the future Mrs. Clinton was undergoing a period of profound political transformation, from the ‘Goldwater girl’ who shared her father’s conservative outlook to a liberal antiwar activist,” reports the Boston Globe. In other words, lib Dems need not be concerned, as deep down inside Hillary remains “a liberal antiwar activist.” Meanwhile, Republicans may rest easy knowing Hillary got her start supporting Goldwater, not that the neocon Republicans of today follow the principles of Barry Goldwater, indeed a real conservative.

WHEN IRAQI SOCCER PLAYERS WERE TERRORISTS

The only unifying incident in Iraq since the illegal March 2003 U.S. invasion has been the success of Iraq’s national soccer (the correct name of the sport is football, but I’ll use the word soccer so U.S. citizens will understand) team. It won the Asian Cup by beating Saudi Arabia on July 29, 2007.

The success of Iraqi soccer has been used as propaganda in the past by George Bush. During his 2004 presidential campaign, he cited Iraq as a "free country" that could now participate in world sports after the Iraqis’ qualification for the Olympic Games. But, some players took offence at Bush’s patting himself on the back. The team captain told reporters that if he was not playing on the national team, he would be fighting with the Iraqi resistance to rid his country of foreign occupation.

Most countries leave politics aside when their teams are involved with international competition. Nations who despise each other praise the efforts of their teams without mentioning political differences.

The same is happening in Iraq. Sunnis, Shi’ites, Kurds, government stooges, and resistance fighters are heralding the Iraqi victory over Saudi Arabia. The unity won’t last long, but at least for a few days, all Iraqis had a common success to celebrate.

In 1993, the Iraqi national soccer team almost qualified for the World Cup competition that was held in the U.S. Beyond all expectations, they went to the finals of the qualifying tournament before losing.

At that time, Iraq was not under occupation by the U.S. and there was a huge controversy about allowing the Iraqi team to play in the U.S. if it qualified. Not allowing them to play would have set a precedent in world sports. The Iraqi loss in the finals stopped the debate.

During the anti-Iraq tirade prior to the team’s loss, a San Diego sportscaster, Ted Leitner outdid everyone else in the subject. On air, he berated Iraq and Arabs. Leitner had made many other bigoted statements about varying groups: Native Americans, Japanese, French, and others during his radio career, yet he was never held responsible for hate mongering. A few months ago, we saw a long-time radio host, Don Imus, fired for using a denigrating racial and sexist remark. Leitner’s statements over the years have been even more hateful than Imus’, yet he still holds his job. Leitner is Jewish and, coincidentally, he has never castigated Jews or Israel. What a surprise.

In 1993, a few dozen Iraqi-Americans and non-Arab-Americans protested outside the offices of KFMB Radio in San Diego about Leitner’s racist overtures. The late Milton Simms covered the event for The Alternative newspaper.

Leitner Gets Red Card

In a symbolic gesture, on November 6, dozens of human rights advocates "carded" KFMB sportscaster Ted Leitner, expressing their outrage to what was widely considered to be inflammatory remarks he made during an October 26 Channel 8 sports segment which were directed against the Iraqi national soccer team.

Leitner was taken to task after he claimed that, "They (the Iraqi soccer team) want to come to Los Angeles and bring their terrorists and murderers and get visas and have a great time ... stay out. Stay away. Don't get me started."

Following the incident, Channel 8's switchboard lit up with telephone calls from people throughout the station's viewing area who expressed anger over the alleged racist statements. Several organizations swiftly gathered their resources and sent statements to Channel 8 management demanding that Leitner issue an on-air apology.

Public reaction to Leitner's statement snowballed, resulting in the November 6 demonstration held in front of the KFMB studios on Engineer Road in San Diego. The protest was sponsored by the San Diego Chapter of the Peace and Freedom Party of California, The Alternative newspaper, News International, and the Iraqi-American Friendship Committee. Dozens of citizens marched on the sidewalk and in the parking lot at the Channel 8 facility. In addition to the signs most marchers carried, each demonstrator was given a "red card."

Jeff Archer, Alternative editor, described the symbolism behind the cards. "We decided that part of the protest should be soccer ... to the American public it means nothing, but in soccer, displaying a red card means that you're out of the game," he explained. "The referee issues a yellow card as a caution ... a red card and you're gone. Today, we're giving Leitner the red card."

Many of the demonstrators were Iraqi immigrants who have lived in the United States for several years. The other members of the group represented Americans from all walks of life. A general opinion threaded through the obvious anger and outrage at Leitner's comments when Leitner himself considered the entire matter a joke.

No one at the demonstration was laughing.

"He criticized the possibility of issuing visas to the Iraqi soccer team to come to the United States, accusing them of possibly blowing up American military sites," said Eric Kalabat, restaurant owner, college student, and Kuwaiti native. "I believe he is just trying to improve his personality on television on the account of the poor Iraqis. You know, Iraq suffered a lot during Desert Storm where a quarter-million people were shot in the back. To have the Iraqi team come play in the United States should not be an issue. Iraq has participated in the Olympics (Los Angeles, 1984) and Leitner should not make statements like that. I hope he doesn't do it any more. Not only against Iraqis, but against any minority community."

Jim Fife, chairperson of the San Diego Chapter of the Peace and Freedom Party of California, acknowledged the theory put forth by Channel 8 management, which in a letter to Archer stated that Leitner's attack against the Iraqi soccer team was a joke. "But everybody knows it is not a joke," Fife asserted. "If he made the same kind of joke about blacks or Latinos, or any other group, nobody would treat it as a joke. They would see it for what it is. There are thousands of people dying in Iraq because of the blockade. Anything that promotes that, or hate and animosity toward the Iraqi people, is tantamount to aiding and abetting murder."

Husayn al-Kurdi, president of News International, was upset about the manner in which Leitner tried to pass on his remarks as a joke. Al-Kurdi stated, "Desert Storm was no joke to the hundreds of thousands who have died because of the brutal actions of the United States."

Other marchers attended the demonstration out of concern that racist remarks uttered by anyone must be addressed as detrimental to mankind. "We had a retreat this morning for the Coalition of Peace and Justice in the Americas and we heard about the group that was organizing here," said Ramon Espinal. "We stopped our meeting to come and support this action. We think it is very important to stop this slander and hate against the Iraqi people who are people just like anyone else. We should fight against hate-mongering and sport is a good way to promote friendships."

At one point, Channel 8 newsman Doug MacAllister strolled across the street with a cameraman in tow to shoot file footage of the demonstration. Apparently, MacAllister was not aware of the Leitner controversy. Liz Svensson, a well-known activist associated with various human rights organizations, briefed the station's weekend newscaster about the demonstration. When asked for a reaction, MacAllister quipped, "Yeah, Ted does various things to get a rise."

Archer later noted Leitner's past ventures into political commentary, adding that, "He (Leitner) does not know enough about politics to do it astutely."

According to Adil Zaia of El Cajon, "The Iraqi people are human beings, they are not terrorists. We want to live here. Leitner is a sportsman ... he should love everybody. It's sports, not politics. The Iraqi team has the right to come to the United States to compete. They had permission from FIFA (worldwide governing body of soccer)."

KFMB management sent Archer a letter which suggested that Leitner said his remarks in jest and did not intend them to be offensive to the Iraqi-American community. The letter went on to espouse upon KFMB's "record" of working with people of all ethnic backgrounds. "But Leitner really didn't address a thing," Archer noted. "The station was inundated with calls, but Leitner never returned them personally."

It is no secret that Leitner has cultivated a love-hate relationship with many of his viewers. Several times during the demonstration, cars drove by the gathering, slowing down long enough to read the placards held by the protesters. "Leitner Sucks" and other expletives pointed at the broadcaster were well received by Leitner's detractors.

Most of the KFMB staff is off on weekends. Archer and company had hoped to meet with station management and discuss the matter. A staffer poked her head out of the door and politely asked the group to move off station property and back to the sidewalk. But the young woman said she would "call somebody" to come down and address the gathering. However, Ian Rose from KFMB radio appeared and took statements, promising to immediately broadcast their concerns.

Archer called for Leitner to referee a few Iraqi-American soccer matches, while Kalabat added, "Ted has appointed himself referee for the world."

Todd Strom (Iraqi-American Friendship Committee) unleashed a poignant statement saying, "We're trying to bind civilizations and people together. But to inject political statements and to take sports away from that pedestal is detrimental. Leitner should keep his broadcasts more in line with sports ... there is plenty to talk about in that regard. The politics and hatred involved in it is something that is secondary and has a better place in the political arena."

Rose listened to the group's complaints, paused, and said, "Ted Leitner didn't become famous in this town by playing it safe." Strom added, "I don't think he has to play it safe. I think there is enough controversy and interest in the world of sport in itself."

Rose said he was unaware of Leitner's indiscretions. Although cordial, Rose continued to make light of the situation. "I heard that someone was asking for directions here so we thought there was some kind of demonstration. I wasn't aware of it until I came out here."

Rose took a head count and gathered comments to air on the radio. One Iraqi woman stepped forward to express her dismay. "As an Iraqi-American, I would like Ted Leitner to know that it is alright to be against certain political parties or a government as a whole, but it is not OK to be against a people as a whole."

The following Monday, November 8, Leitner appeared on the Hudson and Bauer morning show on KFMB Radio. He constantly talked about "the protestors" and voiced his mock relief that they weren't outside.

After Leitner mentioned that he played high school football in New York for the Roosevelt Indians, he then said that he would probably be fair game for another protest. He said, "They can have Thursday, after the Iraqis."

While trying to further make light of his previous remarks, Leitner then talked of Iraqi terrorists lined up at travel agents in Tehran (which is in Iran) awaiting tickets to "monster America."

In September, Hudson and Bauer had made racial remarks concerning Yasser Arafat minutes after the PLO/Israel peace accord was signed. In a spoof, they said they would dine with Arafat and have "barbecued camel." Then, machine gun noises were heard in the background and they stated Arafat must have pulled a machine gun out of his sock.

After hearing Leitner's added insults, another protest was planned for November 20. According to Archer, "Leitner doesn't know when to stop. In addition to his political ignorance, he also is deficient in geography. Tehran is not in Iraq. It is in Iran."

Moreover, Archer sees an even more sinister scenario by Leitner, Hudson and Bauer using racial stereotypes. He added, "Anybody who's not a true red-blooded American will come under fire. On the day Leitner got his countries mixed up, he and Hudson and Bauer were not content to stay with Iraqi-bashing. They also knocked the Japanese and the French."

On November 20, about 50 people showed up for another demonstration at KFMB. Various speakers talked about the similarities of Leitner's attack on Iraqis and the current anti-immigrant fever in vogue in San Diego County. Art Salzberg, an activist for senior citizens and racial equality, stated, "My parents came to this country at the beginning of this century. If the current mood against immigrants was in place, I would now be a stateless person.

Reza Mirza, publisher of Mid East Reader, is of Iranian origin. He said, "This country is made of immigrants. We are all immigrants. Statements of this kind made by Leitner, Hudson and Bauer are dangerous."

Despite two demonstrations and the escalation of racial remarks made on KFMB Radio and Channel 8, the station has yet to offer an apology or ask for a dialogue. A short letter was sent to several groups that complained. Ironically, the letters were the same despite different groups writing about different complaints.

Those who organized the demonstrations are not about to give up. According to Archer, "Nothing has changed. Actually, the situation is worse now than it was prior to our first protest. The airwaves belong to the public. KFMB only rents them and there is no place for racial slurs."

The motives behind the Bush administration’s latest terror scare

Over the last two weeks the Bush administration has orchestrated yet another campaign to sow fear and anxiety among the American people with unsubstantiated claims that signs are mounting of a looming Al Qaeda terrorist attack.

Not a day goes by without suggestions by Bush or top Homeland Security officials that an attack perhaps on the scale of 9/11, or worse, is being prepared. As always, the mass media dutifully report such claims as authoritative, without questioning the lack of evidence beyond the bald assertions of intelligence and other government officials.

The deliberate cultivation of a climate of fear is a basic modus operandi of the Bush White House. Can it be an accident that Bush is once again resorting to scare tactics at a time when his poll numbers are dropping to record lows, popular opposition to the war in Iraq is rising, and the administration is openly declaring that its war policy will not be bound by elections or debates in Congress? The sudden reemergence of Al Qaeda as a supposed threat to the safety and security of every American coincides with a political counteroffensive in which critics of Bush’s military escalation are branded as either dupes or aiders and abettors of the terrorists.

The terror scare serves three basic political functions: to divert public attention from the disaster in Iraq and the social crisis within the US, to justify a foreign policy based on militarism and war, and to provide a pretext for police state measures at home.

What has happened over the last two weeks?

* On July 10, Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff gave an interview to the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune in which he said the US was facing a heightened threat of attacks this summer. He gave no evidence of such a serious risk, other than saying he had a “gut feeling” an attack was being prepared. Why America’s top anti-terrorist official—who has at his disposal vast resources, including information gathered by US spy agencies around the world—would have to rely on a his gut, rather than concrete evidence, Chertoff did not say.

* On July 17, the Bush administration released an unclassified summary of its National Intelligence Estimate, which claimed the US was facing a “heightened threat environment” for terrorist attacks because Al Qaeda had found a safe haven in Pakistan’s tribal areas, from where it could plot such attacks. The Bush administration immediately seized upon the report, ominously entitled “The Terrorist Threat to the Homeland,” as a pretext for possible military intervention in Pakistan and a justification for his war policy in Iraq as well as further domestic surveillance measures at home.

* On July 24, Bush gave a near-hysterical speech at a South Carolina air force base, where he insisted that the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq would result in terrorist attacks on the US. He repeated the absurd claim that US troops in Iraq were “fighting bin Laden’s Al Qaeda” and said that following the advice of those advocating a draw-down of US troops in Iraq would be “disastrous for America.”

* The same day, Air Force General Victor Renuart, who heads the US Northern Command, established by the Bush administration to oversee military operations within the US, told the Associated Press that the American military needs to triple its domestic military forces to counter the growing threat from Al Qaeda, which, he claimed, was actively preparing another terrorist attack in the US. “I believe there are cells in the United States, or at least people who aspire to create cells in the United States,” Renuart said.

He called the National Intelligence Estimate a “summary of drumbeats, and the drumbeats are getting more prevalent out there. You cannot afford to ignore that.” Asked if he was concerned about an attack in the US this summer, he replied, “I have to be concerned that it could happen any day.”

* Over the past few days, television news broadcasts have prominently featured a recent alert issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), warning federal air marshals and other law enforcement agencies to look out for terrorists practicing to carry explosive components onto aircraft. The July 20 warning was based on the seizure of “curious” items found in the luggage of a handful of passengers over the last year, including “wires, pipes or tubes, cell phone components and dense clay-like substances,” such as blocks of cheese. Security officers were instructed to keep any eye out for “ordinary items that look like improvised explosive device components,” because they might be used to test airport security.

The agency admitted, however, that none of the passengers with any of these items were found to have any connections to criminal or terrorist organizations. TSA spokeswoman Ellen Howe subsequently downplayed the story, saying Tuesday, “There is no credible, specific threat here. Don’t panic. We do these things all the time.”

Her remarks follow a well-established pattern. The government issues dire warnings which are given sensationalist coverage by the media. In most cases, there follow acknowledgments that the government has no concrete evidence of a specific terrorist plot. Why, then, the gratuitous alarms? The media never bothers to ask a government official to explain.

This has been the stock-in-trade of the Bush administration since the 9/11 terrorist attacks—an event which itself has never been seriously investigated and for which no accounting has been given of supposed intelligence lapses that point to the possible complicity of the government itself.

At numerous points in Bush’s tenure, terror warnings have been issued in the midst of damaging revelations and political events that shook the administration. For example, two days after the May 18, 2002 revelation that Bush had received a presidential briefing five weeks before 9/11, warning of a terrorist attack within the US, FBI director Robert Mueller announced more attacks were “inevitable.” The next day, officials declared that US railroads and key New York City monuments were threatened.

In the days following Secretary of State Colin Powell’s February 2003 speech at the UN, where he claimed the US had incontrovertible evidence that Iraq had WMDs, and mass international anti-war demonstrations on February 15, a US official warned of potential bio-terror attacks and advised Americans to stock up on duct tape and plastic sheeting to protect themselves.

Similar unsubstantiated warnings followed the Abu Ghraib revelations of US torture of Iraqi detainees, the revelation of CIA doubts about false pre-war claims that Iraq attempted to purchase uranium from Niger, the 9/11 Commission’s conclusion that the attacks were preventable, and news that Karl Rove might be indicted in the CIA leak case.

The Bush administration has set out to make fear and anxiety over terrorism the center of public life. It hopes to appeal to the confusion of more backward sections of the population in order to bludgeon popular opposition to its agenda of militarism and political repression at home.

In so doing, Bush has enjoyed the support of the Democratic Party, which, far from exposing this cynical attempt to manipulate public opinion, has fully embraced the so-called “war on terror.” The Democrats have frequently attacked Bush for not going far enough in “securing the homeland.”

There is no doubt that the brutal neo-colonialist foreign policy of the US government has placed the American people in danger of another terrorist attack. However, the greatest threat to the democratic rights and safety of the American people, and the people of the world, comes not from Islamic extremists in the Middle East, but from US imperialism and the warmongers in Washington.

HELPLESSLY HOPELESS?

TV Mind Control

For many years, American society has lived under a state of siege. We have constantly been bombarded, every minute of every day, with psychological conditioning that is meant to lead us into a state of hopelessness. We are addicted to the source of this Pavlovian conditioning - television. This medium serves as an extension of the government propaganda apparatus, pumping-up the fear and anxiety levels, until the people become numb, convinced that we are helpless in a roiling sea of great dangers. We are literally being scared to death, so that we will give-up, roll over, and play dead. They want our surrender to be assured before they take the final steps to murder our democratic-Republic.

The people don't understand that they are the source of all power within this Republic. Our task, as we fight those who seek to force nuclear war against Iran upon us, is to remind the people of their power and their freedom to reject another illegal, immoral war, to be fought on behalf of Israel. We must find ways to overcome the inertia of hopelessness, by replacing it with reasonable hope. It is up to the American people to enforce the common will to avoid this war, by restraining the monsters who push to unleash it. All of the war plans that are being carried out, and those that are yet to be carried out, since the decisive November elections, stand in direct contradiction of that common will. Our Constitutional rights have been violated by the leaders of our government, who have taken oaths to defend that same Constitution. Our only salvation lies in protecting the Constitution from those who seek to destroy it. The path to preserving freedom is spelled-out clearly within its living words. When free people stand together and speak with one voice, then government has no choice, but to listen.

It is illogical, that the majority of American people don't want to be warned about the coming American economic collapse, or the imminent Muslim genocide that will most assuredly usher the whole calamity in. But logic has nothing to do with it. It is all about fear and denial, with denial being understood as a psychological defense mechanism that that people use to isolate themselves from disturbing conditions. People, who are "in denial," disavow knowledge of painful realities, in order to reduce anxiety/fear levels, sometimes to the detriment of their own health.

Our government has developed Psychological Operations (PSYOPs), which are based on manipulating populations who are in full-blown denial. In addition to these ongoing programs of conditioning and disseminating disinformation, Internet reports have revealed that the Department of Defense is developing a simulated "Parallel Earth," http://www.theregister.com/2007/06/23/sentient_worlds/ to help them to fine-tune their plan. Sentient World Simulation (SWS) bases its AI "thinking" on the psychological theory of "learned hopelessness."

According to researcher Marlena Plavšić, http://www.see-ran.org/expanded/?id=00069 "learned helplessness" refers to the passive acceptance of unpleasant situations, nullifying the natural reactions, which normally cause attempts to escape or to control the situation. "Learned hopelessness" is a state of deep depression, brought on by prolonged immersion in a reality of learned helplessness.

"A person with learned helplessness easily gives in her/his goals if s/he failed few times in achieving them. Such persons show apathy, no motivation, depression and pessimism. The intensity of learned helplessness depends on what a person holds responsible for the helplessness: she herself/he himself or the outside factors...the victims believe they are helpless. Many concentration camp prisoners die of helplessness. They are told and convinced that the environment, i.e. the guards have absolute power over them. Bruno Bettleheim, psychologist and a survived nazi prisoner from the WW II says that that the concentration camp prisoners became 'walking corpses' in the moment when they gave up trying to influence what was happening to them."

The SWS computer simulation allows military leaders to "develop and test multiple courses of action to anticipate and shape behaviors of adversaries, neutrals, and partners. By applying theories of economics and human psychology, its developers believe they can predict how individuals and mobs will respond to various stressors." Homeland Security and the Defense Department are already using it to simulate crises. They try to anticipate how stressed-out populations can be manipulated by increasing the fear and anxiety-induced helplessness, through the introduction of panic-causing events, like earthquakes, tsunamis and terrorist attacks. Sound familiar, to anyone? Sounds like the fear-mongering basis of the whole "war on terror," doesn't it?

So, the Dept. of Defense is using computer modeling to learn how to manipulate people, especially the American people, who have been so debilitated by fear that they have become as sheep, "sheeple." We must assume that the experience amassed by the CIA mind control experiments (that have been revealed in the "Family Jewels") during the Vietnam war have been assimilated into this research, as well as that gained by their manipulations of democratic elections around the world. This is the latest manifestation of Admiral John Poindexter's "Total Information Awareness (TIA)" project, which was supposedly terminated by Congress. Two of the most important components of the TIA program were moved to the NSA headquarters in Fort Meade, Md. and the Army's Information Awareness Center at Fort Belvoir, Va., which was also home to the Army's "Able Danger" program, which identified 9/11 ringleader Mohammed Atta more than a year before the attacks. The NSA is now at the center of a political firestorm over President Bush's program to eavesdrop on the phone calls and e-mails of American citizens. Poindexter conceived of TIA in part, because of his frustration over the lack of such powerful tools, when he was national security chief for Reagan.

Here we see another covert op that has been designed by another key player in "Iran/Contra," just as Ollie North drew-up the first "Continuity Of Government" plans when he worked at FEMA and the "Reg 84 program" of civilian concentration camps that he inadvertently revealed under cross-examination by Congress. Does anyone think it coincidence that names from this secretive group of law-breaking renegades keeps coming up in connection with our darkest hours, or whenever a "black ops" is exposed (or a president needs to be dealt with)? You will read their names whenever you examine the darkest hours of modern history, from the "Bay of Pigs," to the JFK assassination, to the secret war in Laos, to "Watergate," to the Iran "hostage rescue" fiasco, to Iran/Contra, to the Monica Lewinski affair (Linda Tripp was Richard Secord's personal secretary and held a GS-16 federal job rating herself), http://alexconstantine.blogspot.com/2007/07/connections-to-911-part-three-oceans.html to the secret arms/drugs pipeline that operates from Pakistan to "the Stans." Wherever the "secret government" rears its ugly head, many of these names will be associated with it. If it wasn't for the mistakes made by the secret government operatives during the illegal war on Nicaragua and the ensuing political firestorm, we would probably have no idea today of the depth of their penetration into our legitimate government.

So how do we nullify the ongoing plans of the "secret government" to finalize the destruction of democracy in America, that are characterized by the "national emergency" plans, secretive executive orders and law-nullifying "signing statements"? We must first adopt a "holistic approach" to our ongoing efforts to educate the sleeping American majority, whereby we seek to simplify the story, without omitting too many facets of the secret government PSY-OPS that are being deployed against us. We must work to simply the narrative that we will employ to create an awareness of our dilemma, to awaken the sleeping American body politic. Our second task must be to adapt this common narrative to our own understanding of psychological principles, in order to counter the effects of "learned hopelessness."

The people must be made aware of their own unique power to effect political change, restoring a sense of optimism in our Constitutional government, treating the pandemic of hopelessness with a healthy dose of renewed hope. Dr. Martin E.P. Seligman, the author of "Learned Optimism," http://www.eqtoday.com/optimism/seligman.html claims that "we can choose how we think; about ourselves and our coping strategies, in the first place." His advice for overcoming pessimism is "not to ruminate about what happened (or in our case, what is about to happen), but to do something pleasurable that will distract the thoughts from the troubles." Perhaps the sheer pleasure of standing side-by-side with other like-minded Americans, releasing all the repressed feelings and hopelessness in a great expression of resistance to the evil that looms before us would prove cathartic for us all. Standing up to a relentless bully, with others who have also been bullied, often proves to be a healing experience.

We see in the character of George Bush many of the characteristics of "the serial bully." http://www.bullyonline.org/workbully/serial.htm This has been his "m. o." throughout all of his foreign and domestic policies, as it was throughout his brutal career as governor of Texas. His bullying tactics, combined with Cheney's devious scheming have been merged with the psycho/political science of fear-mongering, that has been perfected by the dark forces of the secret government over many years. The concept of "false flag operations" fits in nicely with the demonic form of politics/government practiced by this government.

The pieces are falling into place, so that we may actually be getting very close to constructing an accurate narrative of the past six years. We know that Al Qaida and the CIA shared a long and sordid history. On 9/11 the terrorist attacks were carried out with the help of, as yet, unnamed military experts, and coordinated into ongoing US war games that were simulating the same attacks, at the exact same time. We do know that American air defenses were not called into action to defend Washington and New York, and that during the attacks many unexplained "coincidences" occurred, among them was a coded warning against Air Force One, over top secret channels. The great unknown at this point is the dividing line between our legitimate government and the shadowy secret government, or at least the "CIA within the CIA" that was mentioned during the Iran/contra hearings. According to revelations of Congressman Charlie Wilson ("Charlie Wilson's War"), one rogue former agent, Ed Wilson, (who is spending the rest of his life in the Pennsylvania State Prison system, for selling explosives to Gaddafi) told Nicaraguan dictator Somoza that he could mobilize a "one-thousand-man army of former CIA operatives...(to) crush the Sandinistas." Was this rogue network involved in 9/11? If so, were they acting on their own, or were there other traitors involved from within the government itself?

We do know for certain that the attacks and the accompanying campaign of fear were used to capitalize on the imperialistic opportunities provided by them. We know for certain that the illegal aggression against Iraq and the coming nuclear aggression against Iran have nothing to do with retaliation for the attacks and everything to do with seizing the oil and gas fields of central Asia. We also know full well that our weakened national and global economies cannot bear the burden of the hyper-inflation of oil prices that the planned assault on Iran will surely bring with it. Cold indifferent Americans, who could care less that a million or more Iranians and other Muslims are about to be incinerated, will not be able to ignore the personal suffering that will come with the impending mega-crisis, if they are made to see the price tag of economic collapse that will come with it.

Our task is to overcome administration attempts to spread fear and anxiety amongst the people, a key factor in their calculating quest to obtain the ultimate dictatorial powers that they continually strive for. If enough people understood the truth about the unintended consequences of this next illegal war and the mountain of evidence which confirms these charges, then no force on earth could restrain them from taking to the streets, to exercise their first amendment rights to peacefully express their "righteous indignation" at the national travesty that is known as the Bush Administration.

Telling the Truth at Ben Gurion

[Tel Aviv, Israel , July 28, 2007 ] I left the American Colony Hotel in East Jerusalem: Occupied Territory at 8 AM and arrived at Ben Gurion Airport fifty minutes later.

I only hire Palestinian drivers whenever I travel in Israel Palestine, and for the first time in all my five journeys, my Palestinian driver did not have to leave his car and go into the interrogation building. Security asked me politely for my passport and to get out of the car and identify my luggage in the trunk. I did as I was told and then security returned my passport with a round blue sticker and the number 78 on the back cover. The sticker marks one as being with a Palestinian and triggers a more in-depth interrogation inside the terminal.

I told Samir, my driver, "I am not removing the sticker this time. I am livid to the point of over boil at all I have seen and heard these past two weeks and I will not shut up until I get it all out. I will be writing for the next week about what I have learned and I am going to tell airport security exactly where I have been and that I have been reporting it all on the web. I am flaming mad at my government and pathetic mainstream media who do not tell the truth about what is really going down in the Holy Land, which is all in pieces; Bantustans! Bush and Olmerts concept of a contiguous Palestinian state means connecting the unconnected enclaves with underground tunnels while the illegal settlers; colonists; squatters get to use the well paved apartheid roads and my tax dollars support this occupation and injustice! I am totally pissed off and whipped and worn out with misery and grief at all I have seen, heard and it has gone to my gut; my heart in other words, and I will not be silent; I cannot shut up."

Samir just shrugged.

The very first Ben Gurion employee, who questioned me, was the very same young trainee I had encountered in November 2006, but I didn't tell her that I remembered her. Eight months ago she was hesitant and apologetic in her questioning, but she had now mastered the routine, and there was no joking around. She was very concerned if anyone had given me anything that could be a bomb.

I told her nobody gave me anything except coffee, tea, water, soda, cookies, fruit, hummus and bobaganouh during my visits in Palestinian homes in Ramallah, Bethlehem, and in the Dasheish, Aida and Jenin refugee camps.

"How many times have you been to Israel?"

"This is my fifth trip."

"Do you have family here?"

"Not blood family, but friends who have become like family."

"What was the purpose for your trip?"

"I am an Internet reporter and I came to investigate what my government and the USA media doesn't talk about."

"So, have all your trips here been for business?"

"You could say that."

She then led me to the first x-ray machine, and after my bags passed through, she returned to me accompanied by another young woman and a young man in a suit.

He asked me; "How many times have you been to Israel?"

"This was my fifth trip and I spent all my time in occupied territory."

"Where have you been?"

" East Jerusalem, Bethlehem , Ramallah and Jenin. I am an Internet reporter and you can read all about my journey on my website," I replied as I handed him my card.

He looked at it carefully, smiled and replied, "Very nice, very interesting."

"Thanks. I hope you will read what I have to share."

"Oh, I will. May I keep your card?"

"Of course, it is yours and tell your friends to read me too."

"Thank you for your cooperation. There was a problem with your bags, they must go back through the x-ray machine."

"OK," I said and returned once again to where I had just been.

After the bags came back out, the young man in the suit informed me, "Your bags need to be further examined."

He led me to the next phase, a large rectangular space of tables with x-ray equipment in the middle and delivered me to station number 9, where three females were waiting for me. They asked me to open up all my bags and with plastic gloves on their hands; they swabbed and examined every surface and every article. My sunscreen lotion and Pink IPOD shuffle caused them some concern, but what really got them nervous was a stain on an old suitcase and they wanted to know, "How long had it been there?"

I had no clue as I borrowed the bag from my daughter and hadn't even noticed it until they brought it up. It took 35 minutes for them to go through all my stuff, and all my careful packing was for naught. They were pleasant enough, but nobody responded to me when I said, "All of this happens just because I have been to occupied Palestine? Oh well, every experience is writing material."

After they were satisfied I had no explosives in my luggage, one of them offered to help me repack, but I declined. As soon as I was zipped back up, one of them told me without making any eye contact, "Now I have to check you for metal."

"OK, sure, but I think you mean a strip search?"

She didn't respond and led me to the examining room where my shoes, belt, and jewelry came off and she told me to sit down and she would be right back. After my shoes and belt passed the x-ray inspection, she returned to me and told me to extend my legs so she could pat them down. Then she instructed me to stand up and hold my arms out so she could wand me all over. The wand kept alarming in the vicinity of the metal buttons and rivets on my jeans. She said, "Have a seat; I must get my supervisor."

She returned with a young woman, who also never made eye contact with me and commanded, "You need to drop your pants around your knees."

I complied and after she wanded me all over she turned and left, and I called to her back, "Did I pass the inspection? Can I get dressed?"

She never responded but my first 'companion' said "Yes."

I was then led back to my luggage and another female; one who did make eye contact and smiled a lot. "Come with me," she said and I did.

She led me to the front of a line of about twenty travelers' at the Continental check in desk. Two American women had been first in line and behind them was an angry looking man who yelled at my 'companion' in Hebrew. She responded without a smile in Hebrew back to him, and then smiled when I said to the Americans, "I got to cut in front of you, because I am a security risk. I have been to occupied territory and have been writing what I witnessed and learned on the World Wide Web." I handed them my card and added, "I hope you will read all about it and tell your friends."

After receiving my boarding pass, my 'companion' led me on, and as soon as we were out of ear shot from the line of travelers she remarked, "Israelis can be so very rude."

I responded, "So, all this personal attention is just because I told the truth?"

She smiled again but made no comment until we passed through the employees security check and arrived at Passport control. "Sorry to have put you through all this, but it's just our job."

"I know how that is for I have been doing mine in occupied territory and this morning's experience has provided me with my next article."

How the Most 'Moral' Army in the World Treats the Little Children of Palestine

[Occupied West Bank, July 27, 2007] On Wednesday July 25th, the most numinous encounters occurred, because of being in the right place at the right time...

After Palestinian American Professor and justice and peace activist, Mazin Qumsiyeh spoke in Beit Sahour-a suburb of Bethlehem-at Sabeel's http://www.sabeel.org/ 2nd International Conference: 40 Years in the Wilderness…40 Years of Occupation…I was led to my following interviews.

On July 14, 2007, I arrived in Israel Palestine to report on some of the Sabeel Conference and investigate about the lives of children in the Holy Land, for the non-profit PCWF/Palestinian Children's Welfare Fund, http://www.pcwf.org/

After Mazin addressed over 40 international youth as to the true facts on the ground in Israel Palestine, I spoke with Omar, one of the coordinators of the Sabeel event seeking a connection to any pediatrician in the West Bank who would speak with me, as my PCWF contact person had failed to coordinate any interviews for me.

Omar was radiant as he informed me, "Oh, you are in luck! Just yesterday Dr. M. graduated with his medical degree and he is here today!"

After introductions were made Dr. M and I sat in the Bethlehem Peace Center and he told me, "This is my first Sabeel conference, I have been busy attending Al Quds University in Abu Dis. Without checkpoints I could get there in twenty minutes, four and five years ago, it would take four hours, and sometimes I was not even allowed through the checkpoint. Nowadays, I wait 10-30 minutes to get through.

Dr. M trained in public and private hospitals in Ramallah, Hebron, Jerusalem, Nablus and Bethlehem and will soon begin another internship specializing in neonatal care. "They will pay me about $100.00 a month…I have been in school for six years.

"One horrible case was a baby from Jericho who was referred to a hospital in Jerusalem because their local hospital could not admit them due to the strike, so he needed to get to Jerusalem for treatment, but the permission did not arrive for three days and the babies elevated bilirubin caused permanent brain damage. Because of the USA and EU sanctions for the election of Hamas, no salaries were paid and that led to the strikes in the hospitals. Full monthly salaries have just been paid for the first time since the 2006 elections. Only the emergency rooms were always open and only for severe emergencies with minimal admissions to the hospitals.

"In Jerusalem there is available advanced care for more complicated cases then we can treat in the West Bank. But, the permission for the patient to go there usually takes three days to a week. Most common for the children is upper respiratory infections secondary to the poor sanitation, crowded conditions and lots of people smoke inside the homes. It's illegal to smoke in the hospital for visitors, but they still do. I have seen many cases of neonatal sepsis and respiratory tract infections; and lower respiratory tract infections are the more serious. Smoking is an important risk factor for reactive airway disease and asthma. Other common problems in children in the West Bank are iron deficiency anemia, dehydration and malnutrition.

"Full term infants are usually in the normal range of weight and length, but many premature infants are born with many problems that become chronic. In the emergency rooms there is always a pediatric resident available as pediatric cases are significantly higher than any other age group."

I asked Dr. M if he could connect me with any other physicians to tell me more, and as is typical of Palestinian hospitality and graciousness towards the stranger, he immediately made a phone call that led me to my next interview.

In a private West Bank pediatric hospital, Dr. Rafat-Allawi, of Bethlehem and four General Practice residents spoke to me for the forty-five minutes that was their break time in a 116 hour week that required them to be on call at forty hour stretches. The residents were paid $1, 400.00 a month, twice what physicians are paid in the public government hospitals.

Dr. Zafer Al-Qaisi, is from Jerusalem, Dr. Mohammad Abu Yousef and Dr. Sufyan Amro are both from Hebron and the lone female, Dr. Ninn Hafiri is from Beit Jala.

Dr. Yousef: "Three days ago, I had a critical cardiac patient that required transport to Israeli hospital, as we do not have the facilities or specialists here to treat critical cases. I had to apply for a permit; permission to travel with the child in the ambulance to Jerusalem, but was refused as the Israelis claimed I was a security risk; a threat to the state of Israel."

Dr. Amro: "Yes, a threat with his stethoscope! I had a patient that was one week old with severe heart disease and needed to go to Jerusalem for emergency care. The mother, a paramedic and I traveled with the baby in the ambulance. At the checkpoint, the Israeli soldier; a female laughed and told the mother in broken Arabic, 'You cannot pass through until you admit you are a prostitute.' The mother did not understand what she was saying and why the soldiers were laughing and joking as her baby was blue, but she said what the soldier demanded and we finally were let through. I do not know what happened with that baby and this harassment at the checkpoints is not unusual. At the checkpoints it is usual to wait 3-4 hours and because Palestinian ambulances are not allowed through, we must hire Israeli ambulances for transport. They charge 1,800 shekels [ 450.00 USA dollars] and the parents cannot even make that much money in a month of work."

Dr. Allawi: "The other alternative from going to Jerusalem [a few miles away] is to take the children to Jordan for care, but that trip can take two days. Before the intifada, we were able to go to Jerusalem, but not since. Yesterday, I had a child in renal failure and there is no pediatric dialysis available in the West Bank. It took over twelve hours to locate a hospital in Israel to take him, but it was too late and he is dead."

Dr. Amro: "There are no specialists in the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority pays 80 million a year to Jordan and [Israeli] Hadassah hospitals for medical care. They could build hospitals in the West Bank and train specialists here!"

I asked did any of them have any faith in Tony Blair and the Quartet's initiative to build Palestinian infrastructures, especially in the medical field. They all laughed and Dr. Allawi added, "We have a very weak Health Ministry and there is no state authority. In 1994, when the PA started, its aim was that Palestine would assume authority and responsibility for ourselves and the Israelis present a false front."

When I commented that under International Law the occupiers are responsible for the needs and requirements of the occupied, the doctors laughed again, for it is the law of the jungle that rules the Holy Land.

Dr. Amro: "It's a revolving door in the West Bank. We treat these babies as best we can, the parents don't have the money to pay for the medicine and milk and the babies return to the hospital every ten days."

Dr. Al-Qaisi: "We see lots of children with chronic metabolic disorders and there is no money to treat them properly. They should be on special milk for at least six months; we send them home with one bottle and a week's worth of milk costs 230 shekels that the parents do not have, so they eat potatoes and tomatoes and come back here."

The doctors see over one hundred children a day and admit a quarter of them. In the public hospitals in places like Hebron, the physicians will see five-hundred a day and admit a fourth of them also.

Dr. Al-Qaisi: "When we [resident doctors] graduate, we can't find work in the West Bank; you graduate as a GP and you stay that way because there are no facilities to train in specialties."

Dr. Amro: "The US Aid, the Fulbright Society; they all give food, drugs and money, but don't support further education."

Dr. Hafiri: "We need specialists here; this is a major disaster not having any in the West Bank."

Dr. Amro: "The politicians live in a bubble. We live in the third world, and this is a heaven hospital, the government hospitals in the West Bank are hell! If we need blood for a child, we have to get it from Jerusalem and it takes five hours! So, we are supposed to predict six hours ahead, which child will require blood [stat: immediately].

Dr. Allawi: "There is no plan, no aim to really change this situation. The world leaders are not serious about changing the situation and really building foundations. Some of us get the opportunity to go to the US and get specialized training, but they don't come back here."

But, Dr. Al-Qaisi is the exception to that rule. After the meeting, he offered me a ride back to Jerusalem in his 'classic' 18 year old Peugeot. He had come in on his day off and was on his way home after stopping at his brother's store to pick up some eggs. When he pulled back out into the congested streets, he rear ended a taxi van and dented it slightly. After a few words with the owner of the cab and apology, we were on our way; no insurance info was exchanged and no cop was called; for in Palestine, the people give each other a break.

Dr. Al-Qaisi pulled out his USA citizenship and told me, "In 2004, I won a green card lottery. The USA grants 55,000 green cards a year and if you pass the security checks and all the other criteria, you can get American citizenship. I went to Toledo, Ohio for a while, but I came back home, because my family is the most important thing to me. I don't care about making a lot of money, I want to be with my family."

You do not abandon your own...

What does the chivalric tradition that originated in America’s Civil War mean to the US today? Of all the scandals to come out of the Iraq war – Abu Ghraib, Haditha, the gang-rape and murder of 14 year old Abeer Qassim Hamza – the most dishonorable to date is the Bush administration’s refusal to protect Iraqis who risked their lives by working as translators, interpreters, drivers for the US army. Targeted by insurgent groups, denied help from the US army, the Iraqis who cast their lot with America are being kidnapped and executed every day, and no news report or televised pleas of help have caused a stir in the American conscience.

This story of betrayal is nothing new. At the twilight of the Vietnam war, the US abandoned 3,300 of the 3,500 Vietnamese employees of the US Army, leaving them at the mercy of vengeful nationalists. Every war since, the US has brought war and lofty ideals of freedom and democracy to faraway lands, leaving a cruel fate to the locals who believed in them. Just like in Vietnam 40 years ago, America is demonstrating to the world that it has no honor, and that its word does not mean very much.

*As of February 2007, the US has opened its doors to 466 of the 2 million Iraqi refugees displaced since 2003. Sweden has accepted 70,000, Jordan 750,000.
