by Press TV News - Oct 2, 2007The White House has declined an invitation by an Iranian university, calling on Bush to take part in a question and answer session.
White House Spokeswoman Dana Perino refused the invitation, claiming that Iran is not a democratic nation, "so I think that we are not taking it too seriously."
Ferdowsi University of Mashhad had earlier invited US President George W. Bush to address Iranian students on human rights, terrorism, and the Holocaust and take part in a question and answer session.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has recently taken part in a similar event held at Columbia University.
