Israel's Shin Bet is enying vital treatment for ill Gazans

"According to Physicians for Human Rights, the defense establishment is preventing critically ill Gazans from entering Israel for medical treatment. Since Israel labeled the Gaza Strip a hostile entity in September, there has been a steep decline in the number of permits issued to the ill. Of 551 requests for urgent medical treatment submitted, only 32 were approved. 314 requests were never answered."

Israel's 2007 Victims…Civilians, Gazans

""In 2007, about 35 percent of those killed were civilians who were not taking part in the hostilities when killed," said the B'Tselem organization. The majority of the Palestinians killed were in the besieged Gaza Strip, it noted. The report documented that until December 29, Israeli security forces killed 373 Palestinians, 290 in Gaza Strip and 83 in the West Bank. The victims included 53 minors."
