Olmert Brags About Embarrassing Rice in UN Gaza Vote

Israeli Prime Minister Demanded Bush Halt Lecture to Stop Gaza Truce Vote

Early Friday morning the secretary of state was considering bringing the cease-fire resolution to a UNSC vote and we didn’t want her to vote for it.” Olmert said. “I said ‘get President Bush on the phone.’ They tried and told me he was in the middle of a lecture in Philadelphia. I said ‘I’m not interested, I need to speak to him now.’ He got down from the podium, went out and took the phone call.

A beaming Olmert then described telling President Bush “the US cannot possibly vote in favor of this resolution,” and spoke with pride of how embarrassed US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was at having to abstain from voting for a resolution she helped to organize and gather support for.

Still have questions about who the American President really works for??? Hint - it ain't the American people...

Ehud Olmert's valedictory Jewish New Year message

The answer to the problems of Israelis and Palestinians remains the same today as it was 20 years ago in the wake of the first intifada: two independent states based on the immutable bedrock of history, geography and justice – dividing one small country equitably between the two peoples who are now doomed to inhabit it. Olmert is absolutely right about that – even if his own convictions were too weak to guide him when he could still have made a difference.

ANALYSIS / Olmert's epiphany is too little, too late

At the age of 63, just moments before his departure from premiership, Ehud Olmert has reached an extraordinary epiphany. In order to make peace with the Palestinians and the Syrians, Israel must withdraw from "nearly all the territories, if not all." As he told Yedioth Aharonoth in a holiday interview, even East Jerusalem must be given to the Palestinians.

Even the Israelis are admitting that it was the Palestinians, not the Israelis, who didn't have a true peace partner. Israelis are finally saying publicly what most have been saying privately for years - it was their leaders who were saying one thing in English and another thing in Hebrew when speaking about peace with the Palestinians

Olmert said to offer Palestinians Jordan Valley land swap

Outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has offered the Palestinians sovereignty over the Jordan Valley, in exchange for Israel retaining three main settlement blocs in the West Bank, Army Radio reported on Sunday.

Olmert offers..., Hey wait! Didn't Olmert resign as Israel's Prime Minister??? What kind of bull-sh*t game is Israel running now??? Simply amazing...

Olmert tells cabinet he will resign from office

Olmert is stepping down amid a number of corruption allegations, after a tenure troubled by Israel's inconclusive 2006 war against Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas and months of peace talks with the Palestinians that have yielded no breakthroughs.

'Olmert offers PA 98.1% of W. Bank'

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has discussed with the Palestinians transferring to them 98.1 percent of the West Bank, Channel 2 reported on Sunday evening.

Only "God's chosen people" could be so arrogrant as to offer the Palestinians 98% of what already belongs to them.

Arab parties to Olmert's rescue

"MKs from Arab factions announce they will vote against dissolution of Knesset next week, preferring Olmert to projected rise of Opposition leader Netanyahu."

I can see their point. But, what a situation to be in - having to choose between the lesser of two murders.

Olmert tells Rice Israel to continue building in Jerusalem

"We are not confiscating additional Palestinian lands but building in Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem which are expected to remain in Israeli hands," Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday evening.

Or, in other words, FU*K YOU!

Zionist terror 1946 to 2001

"Ehud Olmert, who would go on become the Likud Party President of Israel was present in New York City on the night of September 10, 2001. This was reported by 9/11 writer Christopher Bollyn. Olmert’s comrade that evening was Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Yet this was not mentioned in the US press, only the Israeli and foreign press. Could Olmert possibly be tied to the events, or was it just coincidence?"

Questions on Iran as Bush heads to Mideast

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaks during a press conference after handing the annual budget bill to the parliament in Tehran on Monday.

"President Bush intends to use his first extended tour of the Middle East to rally support for international pressure against Iran, even as a recent U.S. intelligence report playing down Tehran's nuclear ambitions has left Israeli and Arab leaders rethinking their own approach toward Iran and questioning Washington's resolve, according to senior U.S. officials, diplomats and regional experts."

I'm sure the Palestinians will be pleased to hear Bush is in the region to pressure Iran. I'm sure they thought Bush was coming to pressure Israel to halt the wholesale slaughter of their defenseless and innocent men, women and children, stop the destruction of their homes and farms, force the removal of Israeli settlements and checkpoints, and stop the confiscation of their land.

Jerusalem Division Inevitable: Olmert

"Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert signaled on Tuesday, January 1, that Israel might have no choice but to agree to divide Jerusalem by ceding its eastern part to the Palestinians."

Olmert and his typical Zionist rhetoric ~ Bush is coming and Olmert is all about talking-the-talk but he really has no intention of ever walking-the-walk.

Olmert: War is waging in southern Israel

Prime Minister Olmert Photo: Reuters

Interesting war ~ only Palestinians are dying.

A GENEROUS OFFER TO THE PALESTINIAN REFUGEES?

"Anyone familiar with Israeli politics, was not surprised that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert did not acknowledge Israel’s occupation in his speech at Annapolis. What was surprising was, that, short of mentioning the “R” word- refugees,Olmert acknowledged the Palestinian refugee problem."

Two States or One? - It's time to choose

"Almost immediately after the hollow show in Annapolis, a ray of hope has appeared from an unexpected source -- Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert."

Hersh: Bush Told Olmert Of NIE Two Days Before President Was Allegedly First Briefed On It

"...Seymour Hersh, The New Yorker’s Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative journalist, revealed that Bush actually knew about the NIE at least two days earlier and had a “private discussion” about it with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert before the Middle East peace summit in Annapolis, MD, last week."

Transcript:

BLITZER: But you were suggesting that there was a real run-up to war developing within the administration, even as there were some in the administration — the intelligence community — suggesting, Hey, hold off. Maybe they did suspend or freeze their nuclear weapons program.

HERSH: Well, of course. I think it’s still not over.

BLITZER: Because I want to press you on this. Does that mean, now that this new NIE has been released publicly, it is over, the run-up to a potential military confrontation with Iran?

HERSH: Well, there’s always Israel.

BLITZER: What’s that mean?

HERSH: Well, it means that Israel can always decide to take military action, or with us covertly. Israel objects to this report. I’m told that Olmert had a private discussion with Bush about it during Annapolis — before Annapolis. Bush briefed him about it. The Israelis were very upset about the report. They think we’re naive, they don’t think we get it right. And so they have a different point of view.

PM: New U.S. report on Iran nukes proves need for sanctions

"Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday that a new U.S. intelligence report on Iran's nuclear program released the day before demonstrate the need for tighter international sanctions in order to ensure the Islamic republic can never acquire nuclear weapons."

The typically twisted logic of Israelis, Israeli Firsters, and Zionists. This behavior must be associated with at least one mental disorder.

O’Malley Hugs Olmert, While USS Liberty Is Forgotten

"On June 8, 1967, 34 Americans on the USS Liberty were slaughtered by the IDF, including one Marylander, William B. Allenbaugh, (CT-3, U.S. Navy). Two of its slain crew members, Lt. Commander Philip McCutcheson Armstrong, Jr. and Lt. Stephen Spencer Toth, were graduates of the U.S. Naval Academy. The Zionist Propaganda Machine has insisted the attack, which took place in international waters, was “an accident.” This is the same dubious excuse used to justify the IDF using a 60-ton bulldozer to run over and kill peace activist Rachel Corrie, at Rafah, Occupied Palestine, on March 16, 2003. She was a resident of Olympia, WA, who was trying to stop a Palestinian home from being destroyed by the IDF. Ms. Corrie was only 23 years old. The Israeli bulldozer, all 60 tons of it, ran over her not once--but twice!"
