Iranian Jews say republic safe for them

Dr. Ciamak Morsathegh, head of the Tehran Jewish Committee, looks at an x-ray at the Sapir Charity Hospital, owned by the Iranian Jewish community, he heads, in Tehran, Iran, Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007. Morsathegh rejected as a 'misinformation campaign'against Iran, reports that 40 Iranian Jews immigrated to Israel and left behind their lives in Iran, saying hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's policies has not endangered the life of Jews in Iran nor forced them to leave home. A joint statement signed by Morsathegh and Morris Motamed, the only Jewish lawmaker in the Iranian parliament, also said Iranian Jews have never been part of any 'organized immigration' to Israel.(AP Photo/Vahid Salemi)

"A top Jewish community leader in Iran on Wednesday described the recent immigration of 40 Iranian Jews to Israel as a "misinformation campaign" and insisted that Jews living in the Islamic Republic were not endangered by the hard-line policies of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad."

Based on the totality of the caption under the above picture, I doubt if Dr. Ciamak Morsathegh actually said President Ahmadinejad' policies were "hard-line." But, this is about as good as it gets from the Zionist controlled main-stream media in America.
