Israel poised for first female leader in 34 years

Livni, a political moderate, barely edged out hawkish rival Shaul Mofaz, a former defense minister, in a contest that could have far-reaching implications for peacemaking with the Palestinians and Syria.

Male or female, it doesn't matter - their all Israeli. Peace with Palestine IS NOT what Israel wants - the Israelis want a GREATER ISRAEL! And, that don't include Palestine...
