[Miami, Fl. November 6, 2007] The James L. Knight Center was packed to the rafters with John Hagee's tribe of Christian Zionists and south Florida's right wing Jewish community. Zion's Fire Banners, dancers, singers and a band whipped the crowd into a frenzy of spinning, jumping, clapping, twirling and moved the rotund Hagee to link arms with men in skull caps and dance the Hora-not to Hava Nagila, but to repeated choruses of:

Shout for joy and victory! Bat Yerushalyim

From one end of the stage to the other, the largest American and Israeli flags I have ever seen were draped side by side and by the end of the evening I imagined every star on the red-white-and blue had morphed into the Star of David.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe Martinez pointed to the flags and exclaimed: "Isn't that beautiful up there together? I get goose bumps! All nations have been created by an act of man, except Israel was created by an act of God."

Rabbi Freedman delivered the Invocation, "We are all friends of the only democracy in the Middle East."

I immediately recalled what American Israeli, Jeff Halper, the Founder and Coordinator of ICAHD/Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions told me during one of my five journeys to Jerusalem:

"Israel is a not a democracy but is an Ethnocracy, meaning a country run and controlled by a national group with some democratic elements but set up with Jews in control and structured to keep them in control."

Rabbi Freedman continued on, "From Mount Sinai to Mount Zion to Mount Vernon we are all Zionists! Israel is second to America in how many immigrants we have absorbed."

Immigrant absorption in Israel comes with perks and is called Aliyah, ["go up"] and is a fundamental concept of Zionism enshrined in Israel's Law of Return, which permits any Jew from any where in the world the legal right to government assisted immigration and settlement in Israel, automatic Israeli citizenship, unemployment benefits, free medical, and subsidized housing. Young adult immigrants receive free room, utilities, and three meals a day for the first five months and 100 percent of their tuition is paid by the government.

Hagee's mastery of manipulating the fears of his audience garnered him a standing ovation as the shofars blew, "Israel was re-born by an act of God and Israel lives! The Jews have suffered great persecution and survived slavery and the Final Solution! God Jehovah will bury Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran! The flag of Israel will fly over the undivided Jerusalem and be the praise of all the earth! It's 1938 again and the new Hitler is Ahmadinejad! Radical Islamisicts are threatening to develop nuclear weapons in order to destroy Israel and then the USA! But we are indivisible and we are both here forever!"

The oft repeated comment ascribed to President Ahmadinejad, that "Israel must be wiped off the map," was addressed by Virginia Tilley, Professor of political science who wrote:

"In his October 2005 speech, Mr. Ahmadinejad never used the word "map" or the term "wiped off". According to Farsi-language experts like Juan Cole and even right-wing services like MEMRI, what he actually said was "this regime that is occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."

"In this speech to an annual anti-Zionist conference, Mr. Ahmadinejad was being prophetic, not threatening. He was citing Imam Khomeini, who said this line in the 1980s (a period when Israel was actually selling arms to Iran, so apparently it was not viewed as so ghastly then). Mr. Ahmadinejad had just reminded his audience that the Shah's regime, the Soviet Union, and Saddam Hussein had all seemed enormously powerful and immovable, yet the first two had vanished almost beyond recall and the third now languished in prison. Being a Christian of the Beatitudes-sticking to what Jesus actually taught and not worshiping any state or nation, I hope that the zeal of particular Christians for the state of Israel will also pass and because of their love for the Jewish people, I have hope they will have ears to hear the wisdom of the American Jewish progressive political and spiritual community and organization, Tikkun.

Tikkun is Hebrew for mend, repair and transform the world.

Tikkun researched to discover that there are three distinct elements energizing the Christian Zionists:

1. A strong commitment to conservative and ultra-nationalist American politics (so strong, I believe, that if the U.S. were to decide to break with Israel, this part of the Christian Zionist leadership would go along with that and drop its defense of Israeli policies).

2. Dispensationalist religious commitments that lead many of the Christian Zionists to yearn for a cataclysmic "end of history" eschatological war in the Middle East that will precipitate the second coming of Jesus and the Rapture in which all true Christians will go to heaven and all Jews who have not yet converted to Christianity will burn in hell for eternity.

3. A widespread understanding among many Christians that atonement and repentance is needed for 1700 years of murder, rape, and oppression of Jews that was frequently generated by the Church (though, of course, the Evangelicals do not recognize that church as their church). In this category are many Christian Zionists who genuinely feel terrible about what has happened to the Jews and genuinely want to help the Jewish people. Their philo-Semitism is real and sincere. But in Miami the other night, multitudes of misled and misinformed Christian's celebrated military occupation, violence, power and control and ignored the gospel Jesus preached: "It is the peacemakers who shall be called the children of God." –Matthew 5:9

Hagee repeatedly cited that all worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but neglected to mention that the first mention of Israel is in Genesis 32:22, when Jacob was renamed Israel for having wrestled and struggled with the Divine.

Hagee threw out the names of all the Hebrew prophets, but not the fact that God raised up prophets to speak truth to power and arrogance and to remind people of what God desires:

"What does God require? He has told you o'man!
Be just, be merciful, and walk humbly with your Lord." -Micah 6:8

God also raised up prophets to remind them they cannot know the mind of the Mystery of the Universe, for "His thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord."- Isaiah 55:8

God raised up prophets to admonish the "stiff necked people" [Exodus 34:9, Proverbs 29:1] and that "My people are fools, they do not know me! They are skilled in doing evil, they know not how to do good."-Jeremiah 4:22

Hagee invoked the "Torah Way" but neglected what the Torah commands:

"From Moses to Jeremiah and Isaiah, the Prophets taught...that the Jewish claim on the land of Israel was totally contingent on the moral and spiritual life of the Jews who lived there, and that the land would, as the Torah tells us, 'vomit you out' if people did not live according to the highest moral vision of Torah. Over and over again, the Torah repeated its most frequently stated mitzvah [command]:

"When you enter your land, do not oppress the stranger; the other, the one who is an outsider of your society, the powerless one and then not only 'you shall love your neighbor as yourself' but also 'you shall love the other. '" [Rabbi Lerner, TIKKUN Magazine, page 35, Sept./Oct. 2007 ]

John Hagee: Commodity For the New Comintern

He’s at it again. The Texas TV preacher John Hagee is choosing sides. Of course, in true Hagee fashion, this fundamentalist lover of all things Jewish, Zionist and Israeli has chosen to turn his back on his own Christian brothers and sisters and instead embrace the most extreme kinds of haters in the American Jewish community. In fact, Hagee is even willing to toss Jesus Christ Himself under the bus to garner favor and ingratiate himself to the moneyed Jews he is so fond of courting. It’s Israel-First and the Christian doctrines held since the Reformation must be crumpled up and thrown away, all to get the Jews smiling and the Jewish money and influence flowing in the direction of Cornerstone Church. It doesn’t hurt that Hagee is the only Gentile to ever receive a humanitarian award from the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith. They know a good commodity when they see one. In fact, it was Jewish-owned religious TV stations that made this man a dispensationalist kingpin.

While the New Comintern of the ADL descends on Washington DC like a flock of vultures, demanding that the entire Jewish community be shielded from having their darling little feelings hurt by criticism from those who don’t like the crimes that Jews are allowed to get by with in America, John Hagee throws in his lot with some of these very same Jews to do a circle jerk for Israel’s apartheid state and their genocidal policies against Palestinians, both Christian and Muslim.

The legislation B’nai B’rith wants will complete the incremental transformation of America, from a free republic, to a police state whose government possesses the power to imprison those who say anything not praising and fawning about Big Jewry, the hate-filled Jewish religion, the Zionist state of Israel, Jewish crime, Jewish hatred of Gentiles and on and on it goes. Truth needs censoring and censuring, and lies now become truth in the upside-down world that is the Talmudic thought process. Christians will be the targets of this totalitarian legislation, bulls-eyes etched on their backs for the Jewish snipers. There is no doubt about that.

Hagee is silent about all these easily proven facts. He spends most of his televised sermons describing atheistic, often Communistic Ashkenazi Khazarian pseudo-Jews as the “apple of God’s eye” and as “God’s Chosen People” and other tweaked anti-aphorisms. There is not a word spoken about the Jewish ADL/ACL-Jew war on Christians and Christian churches, Jewish Hollywood’s daily demonizing of religious people and the mocking of Jesus Christ, nothing mentioning the Jewish-owned hard-core porn industry or the fact that the Jewish religion is the most despicable Christ-hating force for evil upon this earth. The fact that Palestinian believers are suffering under heavy-handed Zionist oppression is a non-starter with Reverend Hagee. Jews are sacrosanct angels that can do no wrong, even when they lacerate the Christian flock.

At the same moment that this neo-Communist legislation is introduced over and over again by Big Jewry, what does Hagee do? Does he stand up for the rights of Christians to speak freely as guaranteed by the First Amendment? Of course not. John follows the money, and the money is always on the side of Zionism and Jewish power. Hagee lies or distorts the truth (and he can’t use ignorance as an excuse), he provides cover for the criminals whose hands are drenched with the blood of our American soldiers dying for the Zionist Jews in Iraq. He holds the coat for the killers of Palestinian Christians and those who have nearly made it a crime to speak openly about the Gospel in Jerusalem. Hagee says nothing about Israel’s thriving white sex slave trade, their rape and murder of blonde-haired, blue-eyed white women, many of them from majority Christian countries. There is not a whisper about organ-trafficking, Mossad false flags or Israeli spies selling off America’s well-guarded secrets to the highest bidder.

For you see, Jews must be cheered, must be applauded, and most of all must be showered with gifts. The Reverend recently shook down his congregation for seven million dollars to deliver to the coffers of smug, Christian-hating Jewish millionaires who needn’t bother fleecing middle and lower-middle class church-goers to pay the theocratic Likud piper. They have a Gentile televangelist to do it for them!

What Hagee and the other Jew-ingratiatories have the most disdain for is the truth. They are either too afraid or too corrupted and compromised to speak out. Yes, perhaps John Hagee would be removed from the airwaves if he dared to mention the Self-Chosen in anything but worshipful tributary obeisant words, but at least he would have integrity.

Love may cover a multitude of sins, as the Good Book says, but love also delights in the truth. It surely doesn’t delight in obfuscation and deals with the Devil of Big Jewry and all its minions. There is nothing the Reverend John Hagee can now do to redeem himself. He has betrayed his faith, those under his tutelage, his country and his conscience. But unlike the long line of traitors we have read about in American historiography, Hagee will not meet a traitor’s deserved demise. For his treason he will receive from the Zionist Jews praise, riches and media acclaim. However, those who support this disgraced man will only continue to swallow the bones and thin gruel of a toxic pseudo-Gospel.

Hagee: Ashamed of Jesus’ Name

To pray or not to pray in Jesus’ name — that question now confronts Christian evangelicals. Increasingly, Jewish activists demand that Jesus’ name go unmentioned in public prayers. They also insist that Christians not witness to Jews.

Some evangelicals give them what they want. Dr. John Hagee, passionate “Israel-first” televangelist, worked closely with the Jewish lobby to found Christians United for Israel (CUFI). CUFI’s purpose is to unite every evangelical across the nation to “speak and act with one voice in support of Israel .”

For three days in the Capitol last week, Hagee and an array of political and religious luminaries lavished praise on Israel and the Jewish people during Hagee’s 2nd Annual Israel/Washington, DC Summit. They did so while countless Americans agonized in prayer and concern over impending passage of Kennedy’s hate law amendment. Afterward, conference attendees walked the halls of Congress to lobby not against the hate bill but for Israel .

Oppressive “hate crime” laws, which evangelicals are beginning to realize will persecute them, were created by Jews–the Anti-Defamation League and B’nai B’rith International. (See, video [1] Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians and [2] www.adl.org/99hatecrime/intro.asp) The state of Israel ’s birth was midwifed by B’nai B’rith, the most powerful Jewish organization in the world during the last century. It claims to speak as “the voice of organized world Jewry.”

Zionism, the government of Israel, ADL/B’nai B’rith, and the global hate laws agenda all have one goal: a global bureaucracy run from Jerusalem which will make it a hate crime for any Gentile, Christian or Arab, to criticize Jews, matters Jewish, or the state of Israel . Hate Bill Supporter Runs CUFI

CUFI’s executive director, David Brog, is a religiously conservative Jew and political liberal, hired by John Hagee, he is former chief of staff to Sen. Arlen Specter. Next to Sens. Kennedy and Smith, Specter is one of the Senate’s most ardent, long-term promoters of the federal “anti-hate” bill.

Brog’s personal assistant told me Brog headed Specter’s staff from about 2000 to 2004. During that period, the hate bill came before Congress three times. Specter and Brog did their utmost to pass it, attempting to shackle America under a hate crimes bureaucracy like in Canada , ending free speech.

Featured speaker Sen. Joe Lieberman, also a veteran hate bill promoter, was honored last week at Hagee’s gala. Lieberman and fellow Jewish activist Carl Levin co-sponsored the infamous Sec. 220 of the Lobby Reform Bill, which incited outrage from Christian conservatives this winter. Rejected by the Senate, Sec. 220 would have restricted Americans’ right of petition and grassroots activism. It would have imposed oppressive reporting and accountability requirements on small conservative lobbying organizations. Penalty for not satisfying Levin and Lieberman’s onerous requirements: $100,000 fine.

Hagee’s Apostasy

While Hagee praised the names of Jews and Israel for three days last week, the name of Jesus was discouraged by CUFI policy. This restriction is on all CUFI’s “Nights to Honor Israel ” which are held in 50 states. When invited to address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) last year, Hagee assured his hosts that his appearance would be “non-conversionary” (non-evangelical).

Speaking for Hagee as well as himself, David Brog says: “All activities of CUFI are strictly non-conversionary. Christians who work with Jews in supporting Israel realize how sensitive we are in talking about conversion and talking about Jesus. So those who work with us tend not to talk about Jesus more, but talk about Jesus less. They realize it will interfere with what they are trying to do — building a bridge to the Jewish community to ensure the survival of Judeo-

Christian Civilization.” 1

Hagee benefits from a burgeoning evangelical heresy: Jews have their own covenant with God; they are so divinely favored, even good, that they do not need Jesus for salvation. Jesus taught the opposite. He said His name should be proclaimed “to all nations.” (Matt. 28:19) The New Testament hardly exempts Jews from need of the gospel. Instead, it instructs Christians to witness “to the Jew first” and then the Gentile (Romans 2:10 ).

Hundreds of times during CUFI’s recent three-day Washington conference, Hagee and his speakers praised the names of those who created hate laws and the name of the nation that is the primary cause of Mid-East strife. There was no public praise of the name of the One who, coming out of eternity, died in agony on the cross for Hagee’s sins. Clearly, CUFI is an abomination to God, as it is dedicated to public praise, honor, and glory to persecutive, anti-Christ Israel and not to Christ. Hagee’s is a monstrous sin against Jesus, His Holy Spirit, and, tragically, against the eternal souls of Jews. The word “apostate” (”apostasis” in Greek) describes a backslidden Christian who now prefers the approval of man and stands apart from Jesus and the reproach of His name. The New Testament prophesies that in the latter days there will occur a great “falling away” as former Christians deny Christ’s name to please unbelievers (2 Thess. 2:3).

Hagee’s Deal with the Devil

Two thousand years ago the Pharisees demanded that the apostles not “talk about Jesus.” The disciples refused and were thrown in prison and flogged. (Acts 4:3, 5:40 ).

In contrast, Hagee gives “the synagogue of Satan” (Rev. 3:9) exactly what it demands. He promises not to mention the name of Jesus among them. As a result, evil Jewish leaders exalt him.

Hagee boasts that he received the ‘Humanitarian of the Year’ award from B’nai B’rith. “It was the first time in the history of San Antonio ,” his website crows, “that it has been given to a Gentile … Dr. Hagee has received numerous honors and accolades from national Jewish organizations for his unwavering support of Israel .”

Hagee has abandoned his Christian duty of moral criticism in love. Instead, he flatters and unquestioningly supports one of the world’s most boldly oppressive regimes. (See, [5] The Simple Explanation for Mid-East Strife and video [6] Why The Mid-East Bleeds) Since he praises and receives honor from those who create hate laws, is it any wonder that his huge ministry did not significantly warn against Kennedy’s hate bill last week?

Some Won’t Compromise

But some Christians still deserve the name. Like their apostolic forbears, they now endure persecution from the Jews.

In high profile are Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt and 68 Navy chaplains suing the Navy for forbidding their use of Jesus’ name in public prayers. Klingenschmitt has been court-martialed for praying in Jesus’ name in front of the White House, expelled from the military, and stripped of his military pension.

His conviction is entirely a result of Jewish anti-Christian activism. Jewish activist Mikey Weinstein sued the Air Force Academy and was successful in banning public prayers in Jesus’ name. Rabbi Arnold Resnicoff, chief ethical consultant to the Air Force and Navy, played the predominant role in upholding Weinstein’s victory. Previously, Resnicoff had been instrumental in banning the use of Jesus’ name in public prayers by Navy chaplains. (See, [7] Correction: Speech at Air Force Academy Not Free).

What’s in a Name?

Why is the name of Jesus so hated by Jewish activists?

It’s an old story. In the book of Acts, the Pharisees forbade preaching in Jesus’ name because it focused blame on them for masterminding the crucifixion. Today the physical and spiritual descendants of the Pharisees object for similar reasons: The name of Jesus stands for a real Person whose identity as Son of God and Israel ’s Messiah they find abhorrent.

The name of Jesus, like our own names, refers to His identity. Our names represent our character and life record. The name Jesus (Yeshua) signifies that He is the Creator of all things and Deliverer of those who trust in Him. He is also the great lover of mankind, both Jew and Gentile, having endured an excruciating death so all who trust in His name can be saved. (Acts 4:12 )

This raises indicting questions of Jews: Why did your forefathers crucify Him? Why do you continue to reject Him and revive New Testament persecutions against His followers? (See, [8] ADL Sets Up ‘Philly 11′ Christians).

Jewish activists have no problem with Christian chaplains or high school graduates praying in the name of “God.” That word is non-specific, non-incriminating. “God” can be a universal world force, a cow or monkey, even ourselves. Such Jews also don’t mind the use of “Jesus” as profanity, which levels Him to gutter language. Yet when Jesus’ name is spoken reverently in public prayer, they protest loudly. Their “civil liberties,” they scream, are being violated!

The Bible Doesn’t Support Hagee

Hagee’s mega-flattery of Israel and omission of the name of Christ finds no precedent in Scripture. In the Old Testament, the Hebrews gathered for lengthy festivals of praise but to God, not themselves. Most of the time, even when Israel was moderately obedient (as in the exodus), God describes Israel as an unusually stiff-necked and rebellious people (Ex. 27:9, 33:3).

In the New Testament, the Jews, having coerced the Romans to crucify their Messiah, are even less worthy of praise. Do the words of St. Paul indicate that, if he were alive today, he would have joined Hagee, Liebermann, and over 4000 evangelicals in Washington last week, whooping it up in praise of Israel ?

“The Jews… killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God but hostile to all men, hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved, with the result that they always fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.” (2 Thess. 2:16)

St. Paul would have come toward Hagee for only one purpose: to rebuke him. Otherwise, he and New Testament Christians would have shunned him as a heretic.

So should you.
