Gulf prankster possible message source

"A threatening radio message at the end of a video showing Iranian patrol boats swarming near U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf may have come from a prankster rather than from the Iranian vessels, the Navy Times newspaper has reported."

Some prank... ~ And, who, pray-tell could possibly be the prankster? Who, could possibly benefit from a war between the US and Iran?

Official Version of Naval Incident Starts to Unravel

Why is it that whenever there is a "question of facts" these days, the US is the one "miss representing" those facts?

"Just two days after the U.S. Navy released the eerie video of Iranian speedboats swarming around American warships, which featured a chilling threat in English, the Navy is saying that the voice on the tape could have come from the shore or from another ship."

Actually, this incident is eerily similar to the events leading up to the US attack on Libya in 1986. The Israelis, through the use of a "Trojan", tricked the US into attacking Libya. The knowledge of the unjustified attacks on Libya and Iraq, both of which were heavily influenced and cheered by Israel, has probably stayed the US's hand in this situation.
