"A threatening radio message at the end of a video showing Iranian patrol boats swarming near U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf may have come from a prankster rather than from the Iranian vessels, the Navy Times newspaper has reported."
Some prank... ~ And, who, pray-tell could possibly be the prankster? Who, could possibly benefit from a war between the US and Iran?
Any country come to mind?

"Filipino Monkey" source of US radio threat?
"In recent years, American ships operating in the Middle East have had to contend with a mysterious but profane voice known by the ethnically insulting handle of “Filipino Monkey,” likely more than one person, who listens in on ship-to-ship radio traffic and then jumps on the net shouting insults and jabbering vile epithets."

Republicans leap to show resolve against Iran

(AP Photo/Mary Ann Chastain)"Rep. Ron Paul, a staunch Iraq war opponent who has been unable to break into the top tier in opinion polls despite strong fund-raising, said he believed his presidential rivals were unnecessarily ratcheting up war rhetoric.
"I would certainly urge a lot more caution than I'm hearing here tonight," he said. "This incident should not be thrown out of proportion to the point where we're getting ready to attack Iran over this.""
A lone voice of reason in a sea of insanity...
U.S.: Voices on Recording May Not Have Been From Iranian Speedboats

"Just two days after the U.S. Navy released the eerie video of Iranian speedboats swarming around American warships, which featured a chilling threat in English, the Navy is saying that the voice on the tape could have come from the shore or from another ship."
Damn ~ our staged provocations are being revealed as staged provocations - Senior Busch Administration Saurce.
Actually, this incident is eerily similar to the events leading up to the US attack on Libya in 1986. The Israelis, through the use of a "Trojan", tricked the US into attacking Libya. The knowledge of the unjustified attacks on Libya and Iraq, both of which were heavily influenced and cheered by Israel, has probably stayed the US's hand in this situation. For those of you too young to be familiar with the Libyan attack or for the uninformed, see the below posting.
