The Iranian President Proclaims Peace on Earth and Good Will to all Men: And the American media seethes in rage and hatred and clamors for war

That figures! Who are the barbarians here?

The world knew who they were for quite some time, it´s only the Americans who need to figure it finally out.

The good thing is, that Ahmadinejad is not such a push-over from an ethical point of view as Saddam was. And this can give us some hope.

When there was the call for war against Iraq, the war-mongers could justifiably point out, that Saddam had murdered many of his own people. By his personal order his enemies were tortured and executed. And he had invaded neighboring countries.

Ahmadinejad has never ordered the torture or execution of anybody. Nor has he or his whole country invaded any other country for many hundred years.

Whenever people listen to him, he explains patiently, that his country´s nuclear program is peaceful and absolutely legal according to international law, his questions on the Holocaust are reasonable and his solution for Palestine is a peaceful referendum.

And while liberal seculars call him a ¨fruitcake¨for being religious, he actually talks like the Pope.

In the beginning of the Columbia speech, he cites Islamic scripture to show that God demanded of men to read, research and seek knowledge. In other words God´s gift towards men is "reason" and He demands men to use it.

That´s what the Pope said in his speech to a German university audience. He quoted the New Testament saying that God created the world by reason, since the Greek word "logos" means both "word" and "reason". There was a time, when the Church left the path of reason, but only temporarily.

Then Ahmadinejad said, that the world investigated through material science is only one part of reality. The Pope said in his university speech, that reason cannot be narrowed down to pure materialism.

Ahmadinejad said, that science without ethics is destructive for mankind. And here Ahmadinejad agrees with the Pope, the bishops and the whole Catholic church. I heard these words many times.

Ahmadinejad talks about the sorry state of global injustice and the vast gap between rich and poor countries. Nearly every Papal Encyclica or sermon touches this subject and demands the industrial countries to change course and finally allow the developing countries to develop.

Ahmadinejad talks about the end of the age of war and the abolishment of weapons of mass-destruction and so does the Pope.

Ahmadinejad talks about the respect for human dignity and life and so does the Pope.

Ahmadinejad talks about love for all nations and mankind in general. And Love of this kind was the main theme of Pope Benedict´s first Encyclica "Deus Caritas Est" (God is Love).

Ahmadinejad calls for the repentence of sinners (the criminal oppressive politicians) and the seeking for and the possibility of forgiveness and, guess what, so does the Pope.

In my opinion, the reason, why the Zionist controlled media is screaming so loud and shrill, is because they feel they are loosing.

They are loosing the propaganda battle. They are loosing the hearts and minds of the western world.

Shiite Islam and the Catholic Church are building bridges and joining hands in a quest for peace and an end of a criminally corrupted system. It won´t take long until Sunnis and Protestants will join the "coalition for peace", just wait and see.

And hopefully we can in the end drag along the cynical anti-war seculars who are until now just wailing in despair and hopelessness.

I think the war-party is getting awfully small. Possibly too small for the next war?
